Day 1 - Friday 11 November 2022
Melbourne - Newcastle - Hunter Valley (D)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel! Meet your Tour Hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for our flight to Newcastle. Upon arrival we'll be transferred to the beautiful Hunter Valley region; a lovely place to enjoy with all the ingredients of a perfect getaway. With gourmet regional produce, acclaimed gardens, galleries and heritage towns we'll check into our accommodation and have an afternoon free.
Our hotel is perfectly located nearby the Hunter Valley Gardens Shopping Village, a small boutique collection of shops to browse at leisure.
Tonight we'll regroup for dinner at the Circa 1876 Restaurant part of the Peppers Convent. A beautiful ambient restaurant with amazing food. A fabulous way to start our Hunter Valley mini break.

Day 2 - Saturday 12 November 2022
Exploring the Hunter Valley (B,L)
This morning we start our day with a visit to the Handmade in the Hunter Markets in the picturesque gardens of Kevin Sobels Wines - where we'll discover the variety and quality of goods grown, made and crafted by Hunter Valley artisans. We'll have the chance to see, taste, try, buy and marvel at what the vibrant Hunter Valley artistic and creative community has to offer.
We'll then continue on to visit the Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop, the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company and the small Polkobin Shopping Village another small group of boutique shops just waiting to browse.
With their "Life's flat without Bubbles" ethos we'll kick off a delicious lunch at Peterson's Winery with a glass of Sparkling Blush.
This afternoon we visit the beatuiful Hunter Valley Gardens. Explore 10 internationally themed feature gardens and you'll understand why this garden was Winner of NSW Best Tourist Attraction. And if you're a lover of roses you are going to love the Rose Spectacular with over 50 varieties of roses in bloom. It will be an incredible sensory explosion of colour and fragrance!. After exploring you are welcome to take the short walk back to our hotel for free time.
Tonight we'll regroup for a relaxed dinner at our hotel restaurant (own cost).

Day 3 - Sunday 13 November 2022
Exploring the Hunter Valley (B,D)
Today we'll travel a short distance to the village town of Wollombi, a small picturesque and historic village that has always been an important base along the Great North Road and today retains its fine architectural heritage.
We return back to Pokolbin to enjoy a leisurely lunch at Leaves & Fishes before an afternoon free. You might like to indulge in an optional Spa Treatment at the famous Elysia Spa located at the Golden Door Health Retreat. This activity must be prebooked.
Tonight dinner at leisure.

Day 4 - Monday 14 November 2022

What better way to start the day with a beautiful sunrise balloon flight (OPTIONAL) Enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Wine Country from a moden colourful hot air balloon. Priced from $289 including a gourmet breakfast at Petersens. This activity must be prebooked.
This morning after breakfast we'll check out of our hotel and head off to the small village town of Morpeth enroute to the airport. Morpeth has some lovely shops including antiques, clothing boutiques and gift shops. Also an array of places to enjoy an early lunch before heading to the airport for our flight back to Melbourne.
