This rewarding hike follows a wide management track that steadily climbs through the park, finishing with a short but more challenging and technical stair ascent to the summit. At the top, we’ll be rewarded with spectacular 360 degree views across Tidal River, the rugged coastline, and the offshore islands of Wilsons Promontory.
Please bring your own packed lunch.

Wilsons Promontory Walking (B)
Following an early breakfast, we return to Tidal River for the scenic Three Bays Walk (approximately 12km return).
This stunning coastal trail takes us over the headland to Squeaky Beach, famous for its pristine white quartz sand that produces a distinctive squeaking sound underfoot. From here, we continue past Leonard Point to Picnic Bay, with its powdery white sand and crystal clear waters, before arriving at Whisky Bay, renowned for its dramatic granite boulders and turquoise waters.
The walk combines well maintained bush tracks with sections of beach walking, showcasing some of Wilsons Promontory’s most beautiful coastal scenery.
After the walk, there will be time to purchase a late lunch at the local general store before we continue to our final walk of the day: the Darby Beach Track (2.5km return). This short walk leads to the spectacular Darby Beach, known for its sweeping shoreline, impressive sand dunes, and striking granite headland.
