Basic Fitness Rating - A basic level of fitness is necessary for these tours. Typically, a day of walking entails approximately 10,000 steps and you should be capable of boarding and disembarking coaches, trains and boats unaided as well as managing steps and uneven terrain including cobblestones and unsurfaced roads and paths. Choose between Gold Twin or Single cabins, both of which provide the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day’s journey. Spend hours deep in conversation with new friends in the shared Outback Explorer Lounge, sipping on barista made coffee, or a glass of white wine. Later make your way to the Queen Adelaide Restaurant to dine. Gold includes hearty breakfasts, two-course lunches and three-course dinners. You may also choose to complement your meal with our selection of premium wines and beverages, all included in your fare. Note - Single GOLD cabins DO NOT HAVE a private ensuite, shared bathrooms are located at the end of each carraige. Twin Gold Cabins have a bunk and a small ensuite.

Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Meet your tour hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for your flight to Perth, Western Australia.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the in-flight entertainment as we head towards our destination.
Welcome to the West! Upon arrival, we'll be transferred to our hotel for check in and a welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Wednesday 22 September 2027
Perth Sightseeing (B, D)
Today we visit Kings Park and the Western Australian Botanic Garden, renowned as one of the largest inner-city parks in the world. The gardens showcase thousands of native plant species unique to Western Australia, while expansive areas of natural bushland support an abundance of local wildlife. Enjoy free time to purchase lunch at Fraser’s Restaurant, the Botanic Café, or from the Kings Park kiosk, followed by a leisurely stroll through the park. Take in panoramic views across the Swan and Canning Rivers, Perth’s skyline, and the Darling Ranges beyond.
Later this afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour at The Perth Mint, where Western Australia’s gold rush history comes to life. Tour the historic building, view the gold vault, and witness a traditional gold pour. We continue to our hotel for check in and dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Day 3 - Thursday 23 September 2027
Rottnest Island (B, D)
Today we travel to the famous Rottnest Island! Upon arrival to the Island we are met by one of Rottnest’s local guides and depart on an Island Highlights tour including the Wadjemup Lighthouse, Henrietta Rocks, and Mabel Cove. We’ll pass by all the major habitats of the island including pristine beaches, tranquil woodlands and salt lakes.
Following our tour, we will have free time to explore the Island, purchase lunch and even go for dip in the crystal clear waters. Returning to Perth this afternoon we travel to our hotel to enjoy dinner in the on site restaurant.

Day 4 - Friday 24 September 2027
Perth - Margaret River (B, L, D)
Today we farwell Perth travelling south through Mandurah with a stop at the Mandurah War Memorial, an evocative monument overlooking the estuary. Continuing down to Busselton, we board the Stocker Preston Express for a journey along the famous Busselton Jetty to the Underwater Observatory. Descend beneath the ocean’s surface to view Australia’s largest artificial reef, alive with colourful marine life, enjoy a light lunch here before we continue down to the Margaret River region, checking into our accommodation with time to relax before we gather for dinner.

Day 5 - Saturday 25 September 2027
Sightseeing Margaret River Region (B, L, D)
This morning we enjoy free time to browse the local boutiques and galleries before we are immersed in the Ultimate Taste of Margaret River Experience.
Arriving at the Providore, we will have a series of guided tastings, learn about coffee roasting and chocolate making, sample amazing wines and chocolate liqueurs and explore Providore’s organic gardens, chickens and working farm. To complete your experience you will be provided with a light lunch and glass of wine to relax, reflect and enjoy while overlooking the vines.
Our next stop is at Madfish Wines for a tasting in their cellar door before we travel down to Mammoth Cave, one of the region’s most impressive show caves, featuring vast chambers, ancient fossils, and dramatic limestone formations.

Day 6 - Sunday 26 September 2027
Margaret River - Manjimup (B, D)
Today we travel south to Cape Leeuwin; the most southern west tip of Australia, where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. Wander the historic lighthouse precinct before continuing to Pemberton. In Pemberton we enjoy some leisure time to purchase lunch before boarding the Karri to Coast Cruise on the Donnelly River, offering engaging commentary on the region’s ecology and wildlife, take a brief walk on the sandy beach of the Southern Ocean, before we cruise back up the river while enjoying some afternoon tea.
This afternoon, sit back and enjoy the scenery as we travel to Manjimup, stopping to view the impressive Gloucester Tree before checking in. Dinner tonight will be in the on site restaurant.

Day 7 - Monday 27 September 2027
Manjimup - Albany (B, D)
This morning we return to Pemberton to board the train, meander through towering Karri and Marri forests, over trestle bridges spanning rivers and streams, along one of Australia's most majestic rail lines. As we admire the breath-taking view on the journey, our tram driver gives an informative commentary on the forest, the Tramway and the history of the region.
Our next stop of the day is at Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. On arrival we have the option of purchasing a light lunch before we can stroll along the Tree Top Walk, suspended 40 metres high into the canopy of the ancient tingle forest, or for land lovers we can follow the Ancient Empire ground level boardwalk.
Following our walks we have time to visit the Visitors Centre and Gift Shop before our drive across to Albany.

Day 8 - Tuesday 28 September 2027
Sightseeing in Albany (B, L, D)
Our first stop of the day is at Albany’s award winning National Anzac Centre. The symbolic location at the summit of Mt. Clarence and Mt. Adelaide stretches from the centre of Albany to the shores of King George Sound and Middleton Beach, overlooking the actual location from which over 41,000 Australians and New Zealanders left Australia shores bound for the War. After our tour through the centre, we continue to Torndirrup National Park and The Whaling Station Museum.
Along the way we stop at Albany Wind Farm, Natural Bridge, The Gap and the Blowholes before arriving at Albany’s historic Whaling Station. Enjoy a light lunch at the Whalers Galley Café before our private guide takes us through the stories of the workers, the whales and their place in the economic and social history of Albany.
We are then free to roam the deck of the Cheynes IV ship, the whale oil tank theatres and fascinating photo and artefact galleries plus take a walk through the Wildflower Garden or Wildlife Park. We board the coach and begin our journey back to the hotel, passing by the dynamic Silo Art.

Day 9 - Wednesday 29 September 2027
Albany - Esperance (B, D)
Today we farewell Albany and travel inland toward Esperance, passing through the Stirling Range National Park.
Arriving at the Yongergnow Australian Malleefowl Centre we enjoy lunch and time to explore the interpretive displays.
Enjoy scenic views around Bluff Knoll before continuing southeast.
On arrival in Esperance, enjoy a drive along the Great Ocean Drive, taking in coastal scenery, wind farms, Pink Lake Lookout, and Rotary Lookout before checking in.
Dinner is included tonight.

Day 10 - Thursday 30 September 2027
Esperance - Hyden (B, L, D)
This morning we depart Esperance, travelling north through changing landscapes shaped by salt lakes, wetlands, and
viewing seasonal wildflowers.
Arriving at Ravensthorpe, we view the striking silo art, which took 31 days, 338 litres of paint and countless trips up and down for Fremantle-based, Dutch-born artist Amok Island to execute the Six Stages of Banksia Baxteri across three stout CBH Group silos.
After lunch at a local establishment, we continue through Wheatbelt towns to Hyden for check in. After settling in we take a stroll with our local guide to the iconic Wave Rock, a 27-million-year-old prehistoric granite rock formation, 15 metres high, 110 metres long and weathered into the shape of a wave. We also witness the “Hippos Yawn”, another unusually shaped granite formation.
After witnessing the sunset over Wave Rock, we return to our motel to freshen up for dinner.

Day 11 - Friday 1 October 2027
Hyden - Perth (B, L, D)
This morning we head back towards Perth, visiting the Bell Tower, home to the Swan Bells, before boarding the Swan Valley wine tour lunch cruise. Relax and enjoy the iconic city skyline and beautiful landscape as we escape the city and cruise leisurely into the upper regions of the Swan Valley.
We'll be treated to a delicious share platter lunch on board with wine, followed by a wine and macaron pairing experience at Mandoon Estate. All of this is capped off with live entertainment and tantalizing desserts on board your return cruise.
After disembarking the boat we return to our hotel to relax for dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Day 12 - Saturday 2 October 2027
Board the Indian Pacific (B, L, D)
Today, we farewell Perth and begin our amazing world famous Indian Pacific train journey heading towards Adelaide. Gather with fellow travellers for a warm welcome and a celebratory start to our adventure. With the sun dipping low over the west, settle into your cabin, meet new friends in the lounge and savour your first dinner on board.

Day 13 - Sunday 3 October 2027
Kalgoorlie - Cook (B, L, D)
This morning, awake to see the sunrise across the vast Nullarbor before we arrive into Kalgoorlie, Australia's largest outback town. This morning, delve into the region's fascinating past and present with a visit to it's gold-rush heritage and the modern day Super Pit mine. Choose your Off The Train Experiences to explore Kalgoorlie in your own way, with morning refreshments included.
Reboarding mid morning for brunch, spend the afternoon at leisure on board. Relax with fine hospitality as teh endless sweep of the Nullarbor passes by. Crossing borders and timezones, we'll arrive late evening in the near-ghost town of Cook, South Australia. Once bustling, today only a handful of residents remain, yet its stories endure. Step into the outback outpost to explore this ghost like town as as evening faills look skyward - here, under a canopy of stars unspoiled by light, we'll join a guided star gazing experience to spot the Southern Cross and other constellations that shine bright with dazzling clarity. Later, we return to the train for a regionally inspired dinner as we continue eastward.

Day 14 - Monday 4 October 2027
Cook - Adelaide (B, L)
We spend our final day on the Indian Pacific travelling through the pastoral heart of South Australia, with sweeping views of the Flinders Ranges, Spencer Gulf and the Adelaide Plains unfolding beyond our window. A leisurely breakfast and lunch are seved onboard, inviting you to savour the relaxed rhythm of train travel. We arrive into Adelaide in the afternoon, with a transfer to the airport for our flight home to Melbourne.
