Notice

Activity Level:
This tour is designed for travellers with a moderate level of fitness who enjoy exploring beautiful Greek islands, traditional villages and historic attractions at an unhurried pace. While our journey includes longer island stays and plenty of leisure time, the natural terrain of the Cyclades means that walking can be more physically demanding than expected.

Travellers should be comfortable walking for extended periods on sightseeing days, negotiating hills, steps, cobblestones, and uneven stone pathways while keeping up with the group's pace. Our guided visit to the Acropolis in Athens involves an uphill walk on ancient surfaces, while exploring traditional island villages and boarding and disembarking ferries and smaller boats requires good balance, mobility and confidence.

Activity Factors:
✔ Guided walking tour through Athens
✔ Guided sightseeing at the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum
✔ Uphill walking and uneven ancient stone surfaces at the Acropolis
✔ Walking through traditional Cycladic villages and historic streets
✔ Hills, slopes, cobblestones and numerous steps in island villages
✔ Guided sightseeing and culinary experiences on Milos
✔ Walking on uneven natural surfaces during island excursions
✔ Farm visit and traditional cooking experience on Sifnos
✔ Walking through picturesque villages and coastal areas
✔ Ferry transfers between Athens and the Greek Islands
✔ Boarding and disembarking ferries independently, including gangways and steps
✔ Boarding and disembarking a traditional boat during our private cruise
✔ Walking around resort grounds and hotel facilities
✔ Warm Mediterranean temperatures and extended periods outdoors
✔ Regular hotel changes and luggage transfers between islands
✔ Good balance and independent mobility required throughout
✔ Several free days providing opportunities to relax between excursions
✘ No compulsory hiking or trekking
✘ No sustained long-distance walking days
✘ No technically challenging terrain
✘ No requirement to participate in optional swimming or independent excursions

Additional Meal Allowance:
Breakfast is included daily, together with a selection of special culinary experiences, lunches and welcome and farewell dinners in Athens. Throughout our island stays, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy traditional Greek tavernas, charming waterfront restaurants and leisurely lunches overlooking the Aegean Sea. For comfortable budgeting, we recommend allowing approximately EUR 850 per person (approximately AUD 1,500) for lunches and dinners not included, plus coffees, drinks, snacks, and incidental treats throughout the tour. Travellers wishing to enjoy regular alcoholic beverages, premium seafood restaurants or additional waterfront dining experiences may wish to allow a little extra. **To be used as a guide only**.

Tipping:
Tipping is appreciated throughout Greece to recognise good service, particularly from local guides, drivers, and other service providers. To make your journey as relaxed and hassle-free as possible, Sisterhood Womens Travel operates a group tipping kitty. At the start of the tour, each traveller contributes to the kitty, which your Sisterhood Tour Hostess manages. Your Sisterhood Tour Hostess then distributes tips throughout the journey to local guides, drivers, hotel staff, and other service providers on your behalf. This means you won't need to worry about carrying cash or deciding when and how much to tip, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. The estimated contribution to the Sisterhood tipping kitty for this tour is EUR 130 per person. We will confirm the final amount in your travel documentation.
