Tipping - In Spain, although tipping is not compulsory it is appreciated. Sisterhood Women's Travel's tipping system on all group tours involves passenges contributing to a kitty and paid directly to the Hostess upon departure. Your Hostess will then distribute appropriately to the service providers as required. This system avoids the need for you to consider individual tipping situations daily throughout the trip. This suggested amount will be confirmed with your tour documentation.

Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel.
Meet your tour hostess and fellow travellers at Melbourne Airport for your flight to Spain. Sit back, relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment as we head towards Barcelona.
Day 2 - Sunday 4 May 2025
Barcelona (D)
Welcome to Spain!
Upon arrival into Barcelona we'll be transferred by private vehicle to our hotel with time to settle in before a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 Monday 5 May 2025
Barcelona sightseeing (B, D)
Today we enjoy a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Barcelona including La Ramblas, a view of Placa de Catalunya, Sagrada Familia (including entrance), and a walk through the Gothic Quarter.
This evening we'll take a paella cooking class which will also be our dinner for this evening.

Free day in Barcelona (B)
A free day to explore more of Barcelona. Our tour hostess will be happy to assist with any optional sightseeing.

Day 5 - Wednesday 7 May 2025
Barcelona - Leida - Zaragoza (B, D)
This morning, we depart for Zaragoza stopping at Leida for some free time.
Upon arrival into Zaragoza, we'll enjoy a guided walking tour including the main sights of the city including the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, Aljafería and the Cathedral of the Saviour of Zaragoza (no internal visits).
Tonight, dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 6 - Thursday 8 May 2025
Zaragoza - Eltziego - San Sebastian (B, D)
Today we travel to the popular seaside town of San Sebastian.
Along the way, we'll stop in Eltziego to visit the Marques de Riscal winery for a tour and tasting.
Dinner tonight will be at a local restaurant.

Day 7 - Friday 9 May 2025
San Sesbastian - Bilbao - San Sebastian (B, L)
Today, we enjoy a visit to nearby Bilbao with a visit to the Guggenheim Museum followed by lunch in a local restaurant.
We travel back to San Sebastian for the remainder of the day at leisure, including dinner.

Day 8 - Saturday 10 May 2025
San Sebastian - Camaleño (B, D)
A morning at leisure before departing San Sebastian.
We'll visit the Altamira Cave Museum before overnighting in Camaleño, near the Picos de Europa National Park.

Today we'll have a full day to explore the Picos de Europa National Park, enjoying a funicular ride up the mountain

Camaleño - Porto (B, D)
This morning we travel to Porto, Portugal. A long day on the road today, so a chance to rest and relax.
Upon arrival, we'll have time to settle in before dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 11 - Tuesday 13 May 2025
Porto (B)
Today, we'll have the morning at leisure before some afternoon tours of Porto including tastings of local food and wine at various places and a 6 bridges boat tour.

Day 12 - Wednesday 14 May 2025
Porto - Coimbra - Malveira - Lisbon (B, L, D)
We travel to Coimbra today for a local guided tour to view the city's main sights. We'll view Biblioteca Joanina, Cathedral Sé Velha and Universidade de Coimbra (outside visits only).
We'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Malveira for a Pastel de Nata baking class.
Then onto Lisbon where after check in, we'll have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 13 - Thursday 15 May 2025
Lisbon sightseeing (B, D)
This morning, we'll explore the city on our half-day guided tour of Lisbon. We'll view the main sights including Torre de Belem and Jeronimos Monastery and view the Monument to the Discoveries.
In the afternoon we'll enjoy a fun 2 hour tile painting Workshop.
Dinner at a local restaurant tonight.

Day 14 - Friday 16 May 2025
Free day in Lisbon (B)
This morning we'll enjoy a tuk-tuk tour of the old town of Lisbon, with the remainder of the day continuing your own discovery of Lisbon.

Day 15 - Saturday 17 May 2025
Lisbon - Sintra - Cabo Da Roca - Cascais - Estoril - Lisbon (B, D)
Today, we'll enjoy an excursion to Sintra where we'll visit the Quinta da Regaleira Villa and Gardens.
Afterward, we visit Cabo da Roca to view the westernmost point of continental Europe. We then enjoy photo stops at Cascais and Estoril before returning to Lisbon.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 16 - Sunday 18 May 2025
Lisbon - Mérida (B, D)
This morning we depart Lisbon and travel to Merida.
On the way, we'll visit the Igreja e Mosteiro de São Francisco (San Francisco Church) in Évora and go to the eerie Chapel of Bones.
After free time for lunch, we'll cross the border back into Spain and continue to Mérida.

Day 17 - Monday 19 May 2025
Mérida - Seville (B, D)
This morning we'll see the main sights of Mérida including entrance to the Roman Theatre and a view of Acueducto de los Milagros.
Then, we head to Seville. Upon arrival we'll check in and have the remainder of the day at leisure.

Seville (B, D)
This morning we'll enjoy a guided walking tour of Seville. During this tour, we'll enjoy the main sights of the city, visit the Alcazar and the Seville Cathedral and Giralda. We'll also walk through the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz.
This afternoon, we'll enjoy a fun Flamenco Workshop.

Seville - Granada (B)
Today, we travel to Granada where in the afternoon we'll enjoy a tapas tour, tasting a variety of tapas with beverages included.

This morning, we'll take the train (2nd class) to Madrid.

Madrid - Toledo - Madrid (B, D)
This morning, enjoy a half-day excursion to Toledo with a guided tour including the Cathedral and Treasury.
We'll return to Madrid with an afternoon at leisure.
Tonight we'll enjoy a farewell dinner and flamenco show at a local restaurant celebrating great times with new friends!

A free morning before an early afternoon transfer to the airport for our flight home.
