Tipping - In Spain, although tipping is not compulsory it is appreciated. Sisterhood Women's Travel's tipping system on all group tours involves passenges contributing to a kitty and paid directly to the Hostess upon departure. Your Hostess will then distribute appropriately to the service providers as required (outside of the included Touring Coach Driver and Tour Manager). This system avoids the need for you to consider individual tipping situations daily throughout the trip. Tipping for local guides is not included and we estimate that you’ll need approximately EUR70 to cover these. Tipping for the Tour Manager and Coach Driver is already included.

Moderate Fitness Rating - A moderate level of fitness will be required for these tours due to the length and/or overall physicality of our tour itinerary. You can expect to walk more than 10,000 steps daily on more challenging terrain and longer periods. You must be capable of boarding and disembarking coaches, trains and boats unaided and at times handle your luggage. Melbourne - Dubai - Barcelona (Meals Inflight)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel.
Meet your tour hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for your flight to Spain.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment as we head towards Barcelona.
Day 2 - Sunday 5 May 2024
Barcelona (D)
Welcome to Spain!
Upon arrival into Barcelona, we'll be transferred by private vehicle to our hotel with time to settle in before a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 Monday 6 May 2024
Barcelona Sightseeing (B, D)
Today we enjoy a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Barcelona including La Ramblas, a view of Placa de Catalunya, an entrance to Sagrada Familia, and a walk through the Gothic Quarter.
This evening we'll take a paella cooking class which will also be our dinner for this evening.

Free Day in Barcelona (B)
A free day to explore more of Barcelona. Our tour hostess will be happy to assist with any optional sightseeing.

Day 5 - Wednesday 8 May 2024
Barcelona - Leida - Zaragoza (B, L)
This morning, we depart for Zaragoza stopping at Leida for some free time and lunch.
Upon arrival into Zaragoza check into the hotel and this evening we'll enjoy a guided walking tour including the main sights of the city including the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, Aljaferia and the Cathedral of the Saviour of Zaragoza (no internal visits).

Day 6 - Thursday 9 May 2024
Zaragoza - Eltziego - San Sebastian (B, D)
Today we travel to the popular seaside town of San Sebastian. Along the way, we'll stop in Eltziego to visit the Marques de Riscal winery for a tour and tasting.
Dinner tonight will be at a local restaurant.

Day 7 - Friday 10 May 2024
San Sesbastian - Bilbao - San Sebastian (B, L)
Today, we enjoy a visit to nearby Bilbao including entrance to the Guggenheim Museum, followed by lunch in a local restaurant.
We travel back to San Sebastian for the remainder of the day at leisure.

San Sebastian - Camaleño (B, D)
A morning at leisure before departing San Sebastian. We'll visit the Altamira Cave Museum before overnighting in the Picos de Europa National Park.

Camaleño - Espinama - Camaleño (B, D)
Today we'll explore the Picos de Europa National Park, enjoying a funicular ride up the mountain with free time to explore.

This morning we travel to Porto, Portugal. A long day on the road today so a chance to rest and relax.
Upon arrival, we'll have time to settle in before dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 11 - Tuesday 14 May 2024
Porto (B)
This morning enjoy the 6 Bridges Boat Tour then transfer to Sandeman Porto for a guided tour and tasting of three Porto wines. Make a stop to see the railway station. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 12 - Wednesday 15 May 2024
Port - Coimbra - Malveira - Lisbon (B, L, D)
We travel to Coimbra today for a local guided tour to view the city's main sights. We'll view Biblioteca Joanina, Cathedral Sé Velha and Universidade de Coimbra (outside visits only). We'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Malveira for a pastel de nata baking class.
Then onto Lisbon where after check in we'll have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 13 - Thursday 16 May 2024
Lisbon Sightseeing (B, D)
This morning, we'll explore the city on our half-day guided tour of Lisbon. We'll view the main sights including Torre de Belem and Jeronimos Monastery and view the Monument to the Discoveries.
In the afternoon we'll enjoy a fun 2 hour Tile Painting Workshop.
Dinner at a local restaurant tonight.

Day 14 - Friday 17 May 2024
Free Day in Lisbon (B)
This morning enjoy a Tuk Tuk tour through the old town. The remainder of the day is free to continue your discovery of Lisbon. Your tour hostess is on hand to assist with any optional sightseeing.

Day 15 - Saturday 18 May 2024
Lisbon - Sintra - Cabo Da Roca - Cascais - Estoril - Lisbon (B, D)
Today, we'll enjoy a fully guided excursion to Sintra where we'll visit the Quinta da Regaleira Villa and Gardens. Afterward, we visit Cabo da Roca to view the westernmost point of continental Europe. We then enjoy photo stops at Cascais and Estoril before returning to Lisbon.

Lisbon - Merida (B, D)
This morning we depart Lisbon and travel to Evora to visit the Chapel of Bones and enjoy free time. Continue to Merida and check in to the hotel.

Merida - Seville (B, D)
We'll enjoy a morning guided tour to visit the main sights of Merida including entrance to the Roman Amphitheatre. We'll also view Acueducto de Los Milagros.
This afternoon we head to Seville. Upon arrival, we'll check in and have the remainder of the day at leisure.

This morning we'll enjoy a guided walking tour of Seville. During this tour, we'll enjoy the main sights of the city, and visit the Alcazar and the Seville Cathedral and Giralda. We'll walk through the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz.
This afternoon, we'll enjoy a fun Flamenco Workshop.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

Today, we travel to Granada where in the afternoon we'll enjoy a tapas tour, tasting a variety of tapas with beverages included.

Day 22 - Saturday 25 May 2024
Madrid - Toledo - Madrid (B, D)
This morning, enjoy a half day excursion to Toledo with a guided tour including the Cathedral and Treasury. Returning to Madrid with an afternoon at leisure.
Tonight we'll enjoy a farewell dinner and flamenco show at a local restaurant celebrating great times with new friends!

A free morning before a late morning transfer to the airport for our flight home.
