Tipping - In Spain, although tipping is not compulsory it is appreciated. Sisterhood Women's Travel's tipping system on all group tours involves passenges contributing to a kitty and paid directly to the Hostess upon departure. Your Hostess will then distribute appropriately to the service providers as required (outside of the included Touring Coach Driver and Tour Manager). This system avoids the need for you to consider individual tipping situations daily throughout the trip. This suggested amount will be confirmed with your tour documentation.

Melbourne - Dubai - Barcelona (Meals Inflight)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Meet your tour hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for your flight to Spain. Sit back, relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment as we head towards Barcelona.
Day 2 - Thursday 11 May 2023
Barcelona (D)
Welcome to Spain. Upon arrival into Barcelona we'll be transferred by private boat to our hotel with time to settle in before a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 Friday 12 May 2023
Barcelona Sightseeing (B)
Today we enjoy a full day guided sightseeing tour of Barcelona including La Ramblas, view Placa de Cataluyna, entrance to Sagrada Familia, and a walk through the Gothic Quarter.
This evening we'll take a paella cooking class which will also be our dinner for this evening.

Free Day in Barcelona (B)
A free day to explore more of Barcelona. Our tour hostess will be happy to assist with any optional sightseeing.

Day 5 - Sunday 14 May 2023
Barcelona - Leida - Zaragoza (B,D)
This morning, we depart for Zaragoza stopping at Leida for some free time. Upon arrival into Zaragoza, we'll enjoy a guided walking tour including the main sights of the city including the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, Aljaferia and the Cathedral of the Saviour of Zaragoza (no internal visits).
Tonight, dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 6 - Monday 15 May 2023
Zaragoza - Eltziego - San Sebastian (B,D)
Today we travel to the popular seaside town of San Sebastian. Along the way, we'll stop in Eltziego to visit the Marques de Riscal winer for a tour and tasting.

Day 7 - Tuesday 16 May 2023
San Sesbastian - Bilbao - San Sebastian (B,L)
Today, we enjoy a visit to nearby Bilbao with a guided walking tour to see the main sights of the city and walk through the Old Town, followed by lunch in a local restaurant.
We travel back to San Sebastian for the remainder of the day at leisure including dinner.

Day 8 - Wednesday 17 May 2023
San Sebastian - Cameleno (B,D)
A morning at leisure before departing San Sebastian. We'll visit the Altamira Cave Museum before overnighting in the Picos de Europa National Park.

Today we'll explore the Picos de Europa National Park, enjoying a funicular ride up the moutain with free time to explore.

This morning we travel to Porto, Portugal. A long day on the road today so a chance to rest and relax.

Porto (B)
Today, we'll have the morning at leisure before an afternoon guided foodie tour of Porto including tastings of local food and wine at various places.

Day 12 - Sunday 21 May 2023
Port - Coimbra - Malveira - Lisbon (B,L,D)
We travel to Coimbra today for a local guided tour to view the main sights of the city. We'll view Biblioteca Joanina, Cathedral Se Velha and Universidade de Comimbra (outside visits only). We'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to Malveira for a pastel de nata baking class.
Then onto Lisbon where after check in we'll have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 13 - Monday 22 May 2023
Lisbon Sightseeing (B,D)
This morning, we'll explore the city on our half day guided tour of Lisbon. We'll view the main sights including Torre de Belem and Jeronimos Monastery and view the Mounument to the Discoveries.
In the afternoon we'll enjoy a fun 2 hour Tile Painting Workshop.

Today, a free day to continuing your discovery of Lisbon. Your tour hostess is on hand to assist with any optional sightseeing.

Day 15 - Wednesday 24 May 2022
Lisbon - Sintra - Cabo Da Roca - Cascais - Estoril - Lisbon (B,D)
Today, we'll enjoy a fully guided excursion to Sintra where we'll visit the Pena National Palace. Afterwards, we visit Cabo da Roca to view the westernmost point of continental Europe. We then enjoy photo stops at Cascais and Estorial before returning to Lisbon.

Day 16 - Thursday 25 May 2023
Lisbon - Merida (B,D)
This morning we depart Lisbon and travel to Merida. We'll enjoy an afternoon guided tour to visit the main sights of Merida including entrance to the Roman Amphitheatre. We'll also view Acueducto de Los Milagros.

This morning we head to Seville. Upon arrival we'll check in and have the remainder of the day at leisure.

This morning we'll enjoy a guided walking tour of Seville. During this tour,we'll enjoy the main sights of the city, visit the Alcazar and the Seville Cathedral and Giralda. We'll walk through the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz.
This afternoon, we'll enjoy a fun Flamenco Workshop.

Seville - Granada (B)
Today, we travel to Granada where in the afternoon we'll enjoy a tapas tour, tasting a variety of tapas with beverages included.

This morning, we'll take the train (2nd class) to Madrid, upon arrival we'll enjoy a guided tour of the city sights including Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and a visit to Palacio Rea.

Madrid - Toledo - Madrid (B,D)
This morning, enjoy a half day excursion to Toeldo with a guided tour including the Cathedral and Treasury. Returning to Madrid with an afternoon ad leisure.
Tonight we'll enjoy a farewelll dinner at a local restaurant celebrating great times with new friends!
