Day 2 Thursday 17th September
Werribee - Melbourne (B)
Wake to the views of the open plains and the sounds of our animals and indulge in a freshly cooked hot breakfast before the animal adventures continue with a private morning tour and special experience. This was one of the highlights for our group last time. We check out around 10am and have all day to enjoy the zoo. Keeper talks are through out the day and include elephants, lions, cheetahs, gorilla, zebras and hippos.
Zoos Victoria's herd of nine Asian Elephants recently made its historic journey from Melbourne Zoo to its new 21-hectare habitat in wonderful Werribee. We will discover the elephants in their new world-class, open-range home.
Travelling back to Melbourne late afternoon. Return around 5pm.
This tour was sold out in 24 hrs last time so please get in quick if you would like to come. Everyone raved about it last time and the feedback was phenomenal. Come with a friend or make a new one as its all twin share with a queen bed and two king singles. Perfect mother-daughter adventure as well. A must-do for animal lovers.
