This popularity is attributed to its magnificent natural environment and the island’s accessibility from the mainland by ferry or over the Sky Bridge. Despite this ease of access, the island has managed to retain its remote atmosphere. The landscape is characterised by rugged mountains, misty moors, glistening lochs and majestic sea cliffs. While this spectacular scenery is undoubtedly the island’s main drawcard, visitors can also discover countless historical castles, crofting museums, distilleries, art galleries, cosy pubs and tempting restaurants to keep you blissfully entertained. With its vibrant culture, long and rich history, and its profusion of fascinating wildlife, the Isle of Skye has an allure that is hard to ignore. Dinner will be included at our hotel tonight.
