Tipping :
Tipping is not included in your Scandinavian holiday. Whilst tipping is appreciated throughout Finland and Norway, it is generally more modest than in many other parts of the world and is not expected in every situation. To make your journey as relaxed and hassle-free as possible, Sisterhood Womens Travel operates a group tipping kitty. At the beginning of the tour, each traveller contributes to the kitty, which is managed by your Sisterhood Tour Hostess. Tips are then distributed throughout the journey to local guides, drivers and other service providers on your behalf. This means you won't need to worry about carrying cash or deciding when and how much to tip, allowing you to simply relax and enjoy your holiday. The estimated tipping amount for this tour is EUR 100–150 per person. The final amount will be confirmed in your final travel documentation.

This Cruise is not an exclusive charter; therefore, you can expect passengers outside our group on board of all nationalities.

This evening, simply settle in, relax and enjoy watching the Norwegian coastline slowly unfold before us.

Overnight - Onboard Havila Cruise

The Havila Experience

Our Havila journey takes us south from Kirkenes to Bergen along Norway’s legendary coastal route. Rather than sailing directly between major cities, the ship calls at a collection of small ports, fishing communities and regional towns. Some visits allow time to step ashore, while others are brief working stops as local passengers, goods and supplies move along the coast. This gives the voyage a more authentic Norwegian character than a conventional resort-style cruise.

The atmosphere onboard is relaxed, comfortable and distinctly Scandinavian. Interiors have been designed to reflect Norway’s sea, sky, mountains and glaciers, with natural materials, warm lounges and large windows that keep the passing scenery at the centre of the experience.

Day 14 - Wednesday 1 December 2027

Norway's Arctic Coast (B, L, D)

Today we continue cruising through some of the most remote and spectacular regions of northern Norway.

One of the greatest joys of this voyage is that the scenery is constantly changing. Every fjord, island and tiny coastal village offers another postcard-perfect view, making today a wonderful opportunity to simply slow down, relax and enjoy the beauty of Norway's remarkable coastline.

As darkness falls, don't forget to keep watch from the deck or the comfort of the ship's lounges. We're travelling through one of the best regions on Earth to witness the magical Northern Lights, and with a little luck, we may be treated to nature's most spectacular light show.

Overnight - Onboard Havila Cruise

Day 15 - Thursday 2 December 2027

Through the Lofoten Islands (B, L, D)

Today we cruise through the breathtaking Lofoten Islands, one of Norway's most iconic and awe-inspiring regions. This remarkable archipelago is renowned for its dramatic peaks that rise almost vertically from the sea, colourful fishing villages perched along sheltered bays, and crystal-clear Arctic waters that create some of the most photographed landscapes in Scandinavia.

As we sail between towering mountains and picturesque islands, every turn reveals another unforgettable panorama. Traditional red fishermen's cabins dot the shoreline, while tiny harbours and peaceful villages offer a glimpse into a way of life that has remained largely unchanged for generations.

This is the Norway we've all dreamed of—wild, rugged and impossibly beautiful. Whether you're relaxing in the ship's panoramic lounge with a warm drink or standing out on deck with your camera in hand, today is all about slowing down, embracing the fresh Arctic air and simply taking in one breathtaking view after another.

Keep watch for sea eagles soaring overhead and, if we're lucky, perhaps even whales or playful seals making an appearance as we continue our unforgettable coastal voyage.

Every turn reveals another picture-perfect view and another reminder of why Norway is considered one of the world's most beautiful countries.

Today is another wonderful opportunity to simply slow down, breathe in the fresh sea air and enjoy the journey.

Overnight - Onboard Havila Cruise

Day 17 - Saturday 4 December 2027

Historic Trondheim (B, L, D)

Today we continue our unforgettable journey south along Norway's magnificent coastline, where breathtaking scenery and centuries of history unfold before us. During the day, we'll pass the historic city of Trondheim, once the Viking capital of Norway and home to the magnificent Nidaros Cathedral, one of Scandinavia's most important medieval landmarks.

As our voyage continues, the landscape transforms once again. Towering mountains gradually give way to rolling hills, picturesque fishing villages and sheltered waterways, each offering a glimpse into Norway's rich maritime heritage. From the comfort of our ship, we'll enjoy an ever-changing panorama of colourful harbours, tiny islands and peaceful coastal communities that have thrived along these waters for generations.

This is the perfect day to savour the simple pleasures of life at sea. Find a cosy seat in the panoramic lounge, enjoy a warm drink, browse through your photographs or simply watch the world drift by from the open deck.

Tonight marks our final evening aboard our beautiful Havila ship. As we gather for one last dinner together and reflect on the incredible experiences we've shared—from magical Lapland and unforgettable Arctic adventures to the dramatic beauty of Norway's coastline - we'll no doubt agree that this has been one of the true highlights of our Scandinavian journey.

As we climb through dramatic valleys, cascading waterfalls and snow-capped mountains, we'll understand why this railway appears on so many travel bucket lists. We'll even pause at the magnificent Kjosfossen Waterfall for photographs.

At Myrdal, we connect with our train to Oslo, travelling across Norway's breathtaking mountain plateau before descending into the country's elegant capital.

The contrast between remote wilderness and vibrant city life makes today's journey one of the highlights of our Scandinavian sojourn.
