Itinerary
Day 1: The Scenic Drive & Resort Dining (D)
We leave Melbourne behind and head straight to the charming town of Yarra Glen for a morning coffee and a stroll through the boutique local shops together. Next, we take a breathtaking cruise along the famous Black Spur Drive, winding our way through towering mountain ash forests and lush, emerald fern gullies. We stop in Narbethong at the landmark Black Spur Inn to enjoy a cozy, relaxed lunch filled with hearty Australian classics. Afterward, we check into Peppers Marysville, giving everyone plenty of time to unpack, explore the resort amenities, or head straight to the spa. In the evening, we sit down together in a private space reserved for Sisterhood at the resort’s on-site Andiamo Restaurant & Bar to enjoy an Italian-inspired seasonal share menu showcasing fresh produce sourced from the Yarra Valley. After dinner, we take a five-minute drive to Steavenson Falls, where the waterfall is beautifully floodlit until eleven o'clock to provide a spectacular, magical view of the water cascading eighty-four metres down the rock face.
Day 2: Panoramic Lookouts & Cozy Pub Vibes (B)
We start our morning with a scenic, short drive up to Keppel Lookout, where we can soak in incredible panoramic views of the entire Marysville township and the surrounding mountain ranges. After taking some great group photos at the summit, we return to the valley floor to wander through Bruno’s Art and Sculpture Garden. We can stroll at our own pace through the rainforest garden to find over one hundred and twenty life-sized terracotta sculptures nestled beautifully in the ferns. For dinner, we walk over to The Duck Inn Pub right in the heart of Marysville, which is the perfect spot for our group to laugh, enjoy a classic pub meal, and relax by the wood fireplace with a drink.
Day 3: Vineyard Vistas & Artisanal Cheese (B,L)
We descend from the mountains back into the heart of the Yarra Valley for our final day together. Our destination is Boat O’Craigo winery in Healesville, where we will share delicious wood-fired pizzas and gourmet grazing boards overlooking the stunning vineyard slopes. After lunch, we stop at the famous Yarra Valley Dairy to sample artisanal cheeses and pick up delicious regional treats to take home with us. Finally, we make our way back to Melbourne via the rolling hills of Wonga Park and Park Orchards, arriving comfortably around five o'clock in the evening.
