Join us for a fun-filled pre-Christmas celebration, staying overnight at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne, enjoying dinner together before heading to Love Actually in Concert — the much-loved Christmas movie on the big screen accompanied by a live orchestra. There’ll be Christmas cheer, plenty of laughs, a few festive drinks and, best of all, wonderful company. After the show, there’s no need to worry about getting home — we’ll wander back to our riverfront hotel for the night before enjoying breakfast together the next morning. Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel and here's to an exciting Christmas themed getaway!
Meet your Sisterhood hostess in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza Melbourne at 4.30pm. Perfectly positioned on the banks of the Yarra River in the heart of Melbourne; with its stylish contemporary rooms, fabulous city location and beautiful riverfront setting, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a pre dinner drink in the Dive Bar before heading to Olli'es restaurant for an early pre theatre dinner (own cost).
After dinner, we'll take a short walk to the Melbourne Exhibition Plenary and get ready for a wonderfully festive Sisterhood Christmas escape as one of the world’s most-loved Christmas films comes to life with Love Actually in Concert.
We’ll watch Love Actually on the big screen while a live orchestra performs the film’s beautiful soundtrack in perfect sync. From Craig Armstrong’s unforgettable score to Christmas favourites including All I Want for Christmas Is You and Love Is All Around, it’s a gorgeous way to experience this much-loved movie all over again.
With its wonderfully messy love stories, brilliant British humour, memorable characters and all-star cast, Love Actually has become a Christmas tradition for so many of us. Add the magic of a live orchestra and suddenly those funny, romantic and heart-tugging moments feel even more special.
Heading back to our riverfront hotel, it’s the perfect place to retreat to after the concert — no late-night journey home, just a short trip back to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening,
