Day 1 - Saturday 20 January 2024
Melbourne - Daylesford - Kyneton - Castlemaine (D)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Meet your Sisterhood tour hostess at the T intersection of Lonsdale and Spencer Street, Melbourne no later than 10.00am. We'll make our way to the Victorian Goldfields region with our first stop in Daylesford where upon arrival we'll have time to explore and enjoy lunch at one of the many cafes dotted along the main street. We then continue onto Kyneton where there's time to explore the historic Piper Street with its eclectic collection of shops, galleries and eateries. Afterwards, we'll travel to Castlemaine to check into our hotel before getting dressed up to enjoy a night of fun and festivities; the annual Maldon Twilight Festival. With a picnic hamper style dinner included (drinks additional - no BYO allowed), soak up the surrounds of this beautiful historic town and when the lights go down feel free to dance like no one is watching to the fabulous entertainment provided. Let's all get together and wear something pink to make the night extra enjoyable.
At the end of the night we'll return to Castlemaine for our overnight stay.

Day 2 - Sunday 21 January 2024
Castlemaine - Maldon - Melbourne (L)
This morning, after breakfast downtown, with time permitting we'll enjoy a visit to the beautiful Botanical Gardens. We'll then head to the Castlemaine Train Station for a 10.30am departure on a vintage steam train ride back to Maldon enjoying first class seating before a delicious lunch at the popular and very pretty in pink "Maldon on Rose" with time to explore the historic village of Maldon afterwards.
Returning back to Melbourne late afternoon..
