Please take the 11.06am Bendigo train from Southern Cross to Kyneton which will arrive into Kyneton Station at 12.12pm
Sunday 28 February 2021
You will return to Southern Cross from Castlemaine on the 3.49pm train which will arrive into Melbourne at 5.24pm

Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday 27 February 2021
Melbourne - Kyneton - Castlemaine (D)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. A Sisterhood representative will meet you at Southern Cross Station at the platform for the Bendigo train departing at 11.22am.
Arriving into Kyneton at 12.28pm, with a transfer to historic Piper Street, where you will have time to shop and enjoy lunch at many of the cafes and restaurants on offer.
Afterwards, we'll travel to Castlemaine to check into our hotel before getting dressed up to enjoy the historic steam train ride to Maldon (Australia's first most notable town) to enjoy a night of fun and festivities; the annual Maldon Twilight Festival. With a picnic hamper style dinner included (drinks additional - no BYO allowed), soak up the surrounds of this beautiful historic town and when the lights go down feel free to dance like no one is watching to the fabulous entertainment provided.
At the end of the night we'll transfer back to the Maldon railway station to travel back to Castlemaine for our overnight stay.
Day 2 - Sunday 28 February 2021
Castlemaine - Maldon - Castlemaine - Melbourne (L)
This morning, after breakfast, we'll take a look around Castlemaine, enjoy a visit to the beautiful Botanical Gardens and the nearby Mill complex which houses Das Kauffehouse a traditional Austrian cafe and a vintage bazaar. Late morning we'll head back over to Maldon to explore before enjoying a good old fashioned 'pub' lunch at the iconic Kangaroo Hotel. We'll have you back in Castlemaine in time for the 2.47pm train back to Melbourne.
