Day 1 - Monday 13 April 2026
Melbourne (Essendon Airport) - King Island (L, D)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Join your Sisterhood Hostess and fellow travellers at the Essendon Airport for your flight to King Island. Upon arrival, we are met by our resort host and coach captain, before enjoying a highlights tour of King Island, including lunch. This afternoon, we'll check in at our accommodation, with time to refresh before enjoying a welcome dinner prepared by a local chef.

Day 2 - Tuesday 14 April 2026
King Island (B, L, D)
Today, we visit King Island Kelp Industries before travelling through the Island's most productive farming land. Enjoy morning tea at the Currie harbour boathouse, then continue to the east coast to Naracoopa, and into the Grassy harbour for lunch at the King Island Boat Club. This afternoon, we'll explore Surprise Bay, followed by a visit to a rare calcified forest with views of some of King Island's spectacular coastline. We'll discover Seal Rocks Lookout before returning to our accommodation via Ettrick Bay and Millers Bay. Dinner tonight is at the Wild Harvest Restaurant with an after-dinner opportunity to view the local fairy penguin colony.

Day 3 - Wednesday 15 April 2026
King Island (B, L, D)
Today we travel to Shag Lagoon bird hide, followed by morning tea at Quarantine Bay. We visit the mouth of the Yellow Rock River before making our way to Penny's Lagoon. From here, we visit Martha Lavinia Beach, then experience a 'Meet your Beef' local farming tour and a special Paddock to Plate lunch on a rural property. We then visit Lake Flannigan and Disappointment Bay, featuring the Cape Wickham Lighthouse and Egg Lagoon. Our final stop is the famous (and delicious) King Island Dairy to sample some of their local cheese. Dinner tonight at our hotel.

Day 4 - Thursday 16 April 2026

Today, we embark on a delightful culinary journey, enjoying all the fresh produce King Island has to offer. This exclusive experience invites you to the chef's own property, where you'll enjoy a cooking demonstration, a sumptuous lunch and a guided tour of the grounds. This intimate setting offers a unique opportunity to connect with the local food culture and the people behind it. Tonight, we'll gather for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 - Friday 17 April 2026
King Island - Melbourne (Essendon Airport) (B)
This morning, after breakfast, we'll say farewell to our host and transfer to King Island Airport for our short flight home. Thank you for travelling with Sisterhood Womens Travel, and we look forward to welcoming you back for your next adventure!
