Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday 21 November 2026

Melbourne - Adelaide - Victor Harbour (L,D)

Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Join your Sisterhood hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for our short flight to Adelaide.

Upon arrival in Adelaide, we’re welcomed by our local coach captain and begin our journey to the McLaren Vale wine region. Our first stop is Gemtree Wines, where we enjoy a biodynamic wine tasting and a peaceful stroll along the Eco-Trail. Lunch is at the renowned Salopian Inn, a regional favourite offering a seasonal menu and scenic vineyard views. This afternoon we continue to Wirra Wirra Vineyards for a guided tasting and a look through their historic ironstone cellars. We then travel south to Victor Harbour, check into our accommodation, and enjoy dinner on-site.

Day 2 - Sunday 22 November 2026

Goolwa - Murray Mouth Cruise - Cockle Train (B,D)

Today begins with a visit to the charming Murray River port town of Goolwa. We'll board the Spirit of the Coorong for a memorable Murray Mouth Discovery Cruise through lock chambers, past the Goolwa Barrage, and along the scenic waterways of the Coorong. After the cruise, in Victor Harbour, we can enjoy time to explore the waterfront, visit the National Trust Museum and Customs House or opt for a horse-drawn tram ride to Granite Island. We then ride the historic Cockle Train along coastal cliffs, soaking in breathtaking views of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Returning to our hotel for dinner onsite tonight.

Day 3 - Monday 23 November 2026

Cape Jervis - Kangaroo Island (B,L,D)

Today, we travel down to Cape Jervis to board the Kangaroo Island Sea Link Ferry for our crossing to Kangaroo Island. After we arrive in Penneshaw, we begin our adventure of the Island as we make our way to the Raptor Domain and Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park. Here we step inside the KI Wildlife Park for our Interactive Experience, which lets us explore the park at our own pace and leisure. Enjoy a 15-minute koala talk and interaction with the experienced staff, get to hold a koala (extra cost), and hand feed the kangaroos and wallabies.

Across Kingscote, we check in for our 2-night Kangaroo Island stay before gathering for dinner in the restaurant.

Day 4 - Tuesday 24 November 2026

Kangaroo Island (B,L,D)

Our adventure continues with a visit to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery before exploring Flinders Chase National Park, home to Admirals Arch, Cape du Couedic, New Zealand Fur Seals and the sculptural Remarkable Rocks. Enjoy lunch at the Visitors Centre and discover interactive exhibits. This afternoon, we will stop at Emu Bay Lavender Farm for homemade treats and gift shopping, concluding with a premium tasting at Kangaroo Island Spirits, Australia’s first dedicated gin distillery, featuring award-winning botanical blends.

Day 5 - Wednesday 25 November 2026

Kangaroo Island - Hahndorf - Barossa Valley (B, HT, D)

After breakfast and check out, we begin our day with a Kingscote town tour before ferrying back to the mainland. In the Adelaide Hills, we explore Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest surviving German village, before indulging in a charming High Tea experience at Beerenberg Farm. Enjoy time in their country garden and shop for gourmet jams and gifts. This afternoon, we visit The Cedars, the former home of artist Hans Heysen, before continuing to the beautiful Barossa Valley. We check in and enjoy dinner at the resort.

Day 6 -Thursday 26 November 2026

Barossa Valley Gourmet Trail (B,L,D)

Our morning begins with a truly special visit to Maggie Beer’s iconic Farm Shop, where we enjoy an immersive, hosted experience celebrating Maggie’s remarkable culinary journey. Be inspired as we learn the stories behind her much-loved creations, sample a selection of her signature products, and soak up the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of this renowned food lover’s haven. We’ll have time to browse the gourmet gift shop and sample local delights. We then continue to Seppeltsfield Estate for a “Barossa Style Lunch,” followed by the Grand Insight Tour, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at heritage wine cellars and historic architecture. The afternoon is free to relax before dinner at Angus & Co.

Day 7 - Friday 27 November 2026

Adelaide - Melbourne (B)

Departing the Barossa, we travel to Haigh’s Chocolates in Adelaide for a sweet tasting experience and time to browse their boutique store. We travel into the heart of the city to have some free time exploring Adelaide’s vibrant cultural precinct. You might like to visit the Art Gallery, Museum, or enjoy some retail therapy in nearby laneways. For lunch, enjoy the flavours of the Adelaide Central Market (own expense), where food trucks and fresh produce stalls create a lively local atmosphere. A perfect finale before our return flight home.
