Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa is located amid a lush tropical hillside landscape on the southern coast of Koh Samui. Built around a cave that was used by Buddhist monks as a place of meditative retreat for centuries, Kamalaya is situated in a unique natural setting giving the place a special healing energy. Kamalaya's vision brings together healing traditions from East and West, inspired healthy cuisine and genuinely caring service in a nurturing environment within which guests can explore life's potential. Important Note: Kamalaya requires a level of fitness as the resort is located on a hillside. There are golf carts available but they are not intended to be relied upon.

Day 1 - Sunday 25 June 2023
Melbourne - Koh Samui (Meals Inflight)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Join your tour hostess and fellow travellers at Melbourne Airport for our flight to Koh Samui. Sit back relax and enjoy the airline inflight service as we begin our adventure.
Day 2 - Monday 26 June 2023
Koh Samui - Chaweng Beach
Welcome to Koh Samui! Upon arrival we'll be transferred to Chaweng Beach and our accommodation the Banana Fan Sea Beach Resort located directly on Chaweng Beach. A magical oasis in a tropical paradise, Banana Fan Sea Resort lies on the most beautiful part of Samui’s famous Chaweng Beach in the Gulf of Thailand, with the finest white and powdery sand. During the next three days we'll be able to soak up the sun as we explore all that Chaweng Beach and surrounds have to offer, with breakfast daily and free time to enjoy whatever takes our fancy, spa treatments, dining in some of the area’s best restaurants and some fantastic shopping opportunities.
We are spoilt for choice with shopping including the Central Festival Samui a three storey shopping mecca divided into 4 sections including the popular Beach Town Market. There’s also Chaweng Walking Street which is a riot of colours, sounds and scents. This is where we can put our haggling to the test. The Walking Street is abuzz to all hours with great cafes, restaurants and shops dotted along the busy streets of Chaweng.

Day 3 - Tuesday 27 June 2023

Today, take the opportunity to continue your exploring of Chaweng Beach and surrounds. Make use of the hotel's beachside facilities or enjoy a massage at one of the many spas on offer.
We'll regroup for dinner at leisure tonight.

Day 4 - Wednesday 28 June 2023
Chaweng Beach (B,L,D)
Today we'll enjoy a Private Beach Picnic. After breakfast, we'll set out for a secluded ocean side picnic on an unhurried half-day tour from Koh Samui. We'll board a traditional longtail boat for Koh Tan, where we have the opportunity to snorkel over a thriving reef that’s home to vivid fish and brilliant sponges. We thn continue across the Gulf to Koh Madsum beach for a sumptuous picnic and free time to enjoy our surrounds.
Returning back to our hotel mid afternoon with dinner included at a local restaurant.

Day 5 - Thursday 29 June 2023
Chaweng Beach - Kamalaya Koh Samui (D)
Today, we transfer to the world’s best overseas, health & wellness property, Kamalaya Koh Samui (as voted by Conde Nest Traveller). Kamalaya is a place where wellness is restored, inspiration is abundant and magic moments bless each day.
More than a holiday, Kamalaya will take us on a joyful inward journey to health, happiness and fulfilment. Upon our arrival we'll meet with a wellness expert who will give us an overview of the property and explain the treatments that are included during our stay. Over the next eight days, aside from attending the wellness sanctuary to enjoy our treatments, we’ll have the opportunity to relax in the tranquil surrounds of Kamalaya with a nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner daily including non-alcoholic beverages. We will also join in with its array of included daily scheduled activities including meditation sessions, yoga classes including the Yin, Flow, Hatha, Asana and Pranayama techniques, fitball classes and aqua aerobics.
You can do as little or as many of these classes as you like. Throughout our time at Kamalaya we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy resident guest speakers/counsellors who will impart their knowledge of their chosen field with topics including health, happiness, meditation and spiritual healing.
If you choose to further pursue any of these topics you can make a one on one appointment with the speaker/counsellor (at an additional charge). During our stay at Kamalaya we’ll be given a structured timetable where we can book our spa treatments around our planned activities.

Enjoy a morning swim before a delicious healthy breakfast. Time for scheduled treatments or make use of Kamalaya steam caverns, Shakti Fitness Centre and leisure and plunge pools. The day is yours to do as little or as much as you like.
