Local tipping is customary and appreciated.  Sisterhood Womens Travel tipping system on all Group Tours involves passengers contributing to a kitty, which is paid to the tour hostess at the beginning of the tour, who then distributes it daily to service providers on your behalf. This avoids the need for you to consider individual tipping situations daily throughout your trip. The estimated amount for your tour is EUR120, and this will be confirmed in your final documentation.

Day 2 - Tuesday 15 September 2026

Welcome to Venice (D)

Upon arrival at Venice Airport, we’ll be warmly greeted by our tour manager and whisked away in true Venetian style—by private boat—to our charming hotel for a 3-night stay. Porters will handle our luggage, leaving us free to simply enjoy the journey, though a little walking may be involved as we make our way through the city’s enchanting laneways.

Venice is a truly magical destination for women—where romantic canals glisten in the afternoon light, gondolas glide silently beneath ornate bridges, and centuries-old palaces stand as timeless witnesses to stories of love, art, and intrigue. From the serenity of hidden piazzas to the lively hum of local markets, every turn offers moments of connection, creativity, and pure wonder. This is a city best savoured slowly—camera ready, heart open, and senses alive.

The remainder of the day is ours to enjoy at leisure—perhaps to wander along the canals, sip an Aperol Spritz by the water, or simply soak up the atmosphere.

Tonight, we’ll gather for a special welcome dinner at a local Venetian restaurant, where the flavours of the lagoon will set the tone for the adventures ahead.

Day 3 - Wednesday 16 September 2026

Venice Island (B)

This morning, we’ll set off on a captivating walking tour of San Marco with our knowledgeable local guide. As we weave through Venice’s romantic maze of narrow backstreets and stone footbridges, we’ll uncover the city’s hidden gems—places where history, art, and everyday life intertwine.

We’ll marvel at the grandeur of St Mark’s Basilica, the elegance of the Doge’s Palace, and the poignant beauty of the Bridge of Sighs. Along the way, our guide will share fascinating tales of Venice’s past, bringing its centuries of intrigue and charm to life.

Then, in true Venetian style, we’ll step aboard a gondola for a gentle, gliding journey along the shimmering waters of the Grand Canal—an unforgettable perspective of this enchanting city.

The remainder of our day is at leisure to explore.

Your Sisterhood hostess will arrange a venue for dinner and meet you in the hotel lobby.

Day 4 - Thursday 17 September 2026

Murano & Burano islands (B, L)

Today, we’ll board our water taxi and set out across the sparkling Venetian lagoon to explore the charming islands of Murano and Burano.

First, we’ll step ashore in Murano, world-renowned for its exquisite glassmaking. Here, we’ll visit a traditional glass factory to witness master artisans at work, shaping molten glass into delicate works of art—a centuries-old craft passed down through generations.

Next, we’ll glide over to colourful Burano, where vibrant houses line the canals like a painter’s palette. This island is famous for its intricate lacework, and we’ll explore its Lace Museum to learn the history and artistry behind this timeless tradition. Strolling along the romantic “calli” (narrow streets), we’ll soak in the island’s charm before enjoying a delicious, typical Burano lunch together.

As the day winds down, we’ll return to Venice by taxi boat for an afternoon at leisure. For those who wish, your Sisterhood hostess will select a wonderful local restaurant and meet you in the lobby to share dinner and conversation.

Day 5 - Friday 18 September 2026

Venice Island - Verona (B, D)

This morning, we bid farewell to Venice, boarding our private taxi boat to Tronchetto. From here, we’ll journey to Verona, with a relaxing stop along the way for lunch (own expense).

On arrival, Verona will welcome us with its timeless charm and romantic allure. We’ll stroll through sunlit piazzas framed by colourful façades, wander cobblestone streets lined with chic boutiques and inviting cafés, and stand before the legendary balcony of Juliet—a symbol of enduring love. Verona’s rich tapestry of ancient Roman ruins, elegant architecture, and warm Italian spirit makes it feel like stepping straight into a fairytale.

This evening, we’ll gather for dinner in a local restaurant, savouring regional flavours and reflecting on the beauty of the day.

Day 6 - Saturday 19 September 2026

Verona (B)

Today, we’ll immerse ourselves in the timeless charm of Verona on a half-day guided walking tour with a knowledgeable local guide. Marvel at the impressive Arena di Verona, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Piazza delle Erbe, where colourful market stalls and centuries-old buildings bring history to life. Step into the world of Shakespeare’s most famous romance with a visit to Juliet’s House, complete with its iconic balcony and walls adorned with declarations of love.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, perhaps find the Guiletta Club and volunteer to write love letters, adding your words to the city’s living tapestry of romance.

This evening, your Sisterhood hostess will arrange a dinner venue and meet you in the lobby.

Day 7 - Sunday 20 September 2026

Verona – Milan – Hotel in Como (B, D)

This morning, we’ll board our private coach and travel to the heart of Milan for a captivating city tour with our local guide. Milan enchants with its seamless fusion of high fashion, historic grandeur, and cosmopolitan charm. Marvel at the awe-inspiring Duomo, a Gothic masterpiece that dominates the skyline, and stroll through the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where luxury boutiques and opulent architecture invite you to indulge. Every street hums with creativity and style, from chic cafés perfect for people-watching to galleries housing some of the world’s most treasured art.

If fortune favours us, we’ll secure a visit to Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper—a rare and unforgettable experience.

After soaking in Milan’s sophistication, we’ll continue to our hotel in the picturesque lakeside town of Como.

This evening, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner in a local restaurant, raising a glass to the magic of the day.

Day 8 - Monday 21 September 2026

Full day Como Lake (B)

Today, we’ll enjoy a guided exploration of the enchanting town of Como. Nestled on the Italian-Swiss border, Como gazes out over the shimmering southwest tip of its namesake lake, embraced by rolling green hills that create a picture-perfect backdrop. We’ll wander the charming town centre, discovering boutique shops, historic squares, and graceful architecture, before strolling along the serene lakefront, where every view feels like a postcard.

Late in the morning, we’ll board a public ferry and glide across the sparkling waters to Bellagio, the jewel of Lake Como. Here, we’ll visit the elegant Villa Melzi, with its beautifully manicured gardens and sweeping lake views.

In the afternoon, we return to our hotel, where the evening is ours to relax and savour.

Day 9 - Tuesday 22 September 2026

Como - La Spezia (B,D)

After breakfast, we'll take a late morning transfer to our hotel in La Spezia with free time at leisure. La Spezia is a charming coastal gateway to the stunning Cinque Terre, offering a more relaxed, authentic Italian vibe away from heavy tourist crowds, blending charm, convenience, and culture.

Dinner in a local restaurant tonight.

Day 10 - Wednesday 23 September 2026

La Spezia - Riomaggiore - Monterosso - La Spezia (B)

Today, we set out to explore the breathtaking Cinque Terre, a string of colourful seaside villages that cling to the rugged Ligurian coastline. We’ll begin with a scenic cruise to romantic Riomaggiore, where we'll have the chance to stroll along the famous Via dell’Amore (Path of Love). This short, flat, and beautifully paved walk offers spectacular views over the sparkling Mediterranean.

From here, our cruise continues along the coast, revealing the postcard-perfect villages of the Cinque Terre, each one more captivating than the last. We’ll arrive in charming Monterosso, known for its sandy beaches, pastel houses, and lively promenade.

After soaking up its charm, we’ll walk to the train station and journey back to La Spezia before returning to our hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 11 - Thursday 24 September 2026

La Spezia - Lucca - Pisa - Florence (B, D)

Today, we journey to the enchanting city of Lucca for a guided walking tour of its beautifully preserved historic centre. Stroll along the vast, tree-lined Renaissance walls that encircle the city, offering unique views over its cobblestone streets and elegant piazzas. See the exterior of Puccini’s birthplace, admire the graceful Church of San Michele, and wander through Piazza Napoleone and the nearby Piazza del Giglio. We’ll also visit the magnificent Romanesque cathedral before making our way along Via Fillungo — Lucca’s most prestigious shopping street — lined with medieval buildings, boutique stores, and crowned by the striking Torre Guinigi.

We then continue to Pisa, where the world-famous Leaning Tower awaits. Marvel at this architectural icon and the surrounding Square of Miracles before transferring to Florence, our home for the next stage of our Italian adventure.

Day 12 - Friday 25 September 2026

Florence - Vinci - Florence (B)

This morning, we set out on a captivating half-day panoramic tour of Florence, guided by a local expert who will bring the city’s Renaissance heart to life. We’ll explore the historic centre, taking in the grandeur of the Duomo and the exquisite bronze doors of the Baptistery. Marvel at the architectural elegance of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, and the Medici Palace & Tombs — enduring symbols of Florence’s power and artistry. Crossing the iconic Ponte Vecchio, with its charming jewellers’ shops, feels like stepping back in time.

Our tour includes entrance to the Accademia Gallery, where we’ll stand in awe before Michelangelo’s David — one of the world’s most celebrated sculptures. In the afternoon, we journey to the picturesque village of Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, to connect with the genius whose ideas shaped centuries.

Day 13 - Saturday 26 September 2026

This morning, we’ll indulge our senses with a locally guided food tour through the charming streets of Florence. As we wander its cobblestone laneways, we’ll discover the flavours that make Tuscan cuisine so beloved. In the bustling San Lorenzo market, stalls overflow with colourful produce, fragrant herbs, and artisanal delights. We’ll sample crostini topped with rich local spreads, bite into crisp cantucci biscuits, and sip velvety vin santo — a sweet Tuscan wine steeped in tradition.

After our tasting journey, we return to the hotel for a leisurely afternoon to shop, explore, or simply soak up Florence’s timeless beauty.

Day 14 - Sunday 27 September 2026

Florence – Reggello – San Gimignano (B, D)

Today we travel by coach to Reggello, in the Florentine mountains and the Vallombrosa Woods, among abbeys and incredible castles. We'll visit an olive oil producer for a tour and tasting. The olive groves in Reggello have been growing since the 14th century.

We continue to San Gimignano known as the “Medieval Manhattan for a walking tour. A breathtaking Tuscan hilltop town whose 14 remaining towers rise proudly above the countryside. Its medieval charm is preserved in winding cobblestone streets, ancient stone walls, and picturesque piazzas. Surrounded by vineyards producing world-class Vernaccia wine, the town offers sweeping views of rolling hills and cypress-lined roads. Artisan shops, gelaterias, and cosy trattorias invite visitors to linger, while its rich history whispers from every corner. 

We then transfer to our nearby hotel with dinner at the onsite restaurant.

Day 15 - Monday 28 September 2026

San Gimignano - Siena - San Gimignano (B, D)

Today, we journey by coach to Siena, one of Italy’s most enchanting medieval cities, where history and beauty meet at every turn. In the afternoon, we’ll join our local guide for a walking tour through Siena’s winding streets, uncovering its rich heritage and timeless charm. We’ll stand in the heart of the stunning Piazza del Campo, admire the intricate façade of the Duomo of Siena, and gaze up at the soaring Torre del Mangia.

After soaking in the city’s magic, we’ll venture into the Tuscan countryside to visit a local vineyard. Here, we’ll enjoy a guided tour and a tasting session of the region’s celebrated wines — the perfect way to toast our day.

Dinner tonight will be at our hotel’s restaurant, where we can relax and reflect on our Tuscan discoveries.

Day 16 -Tuesday 29 September 2026

San Gimignano - Orvieto - Rome (B, D)

Today we travel by coach to Orvieto a captivating hilltop city in Umbria, perched dramatically on a volcanic tufa cliff with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Its crown jewel is the stunning Orvieto Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece adorned with intricate mosaics and sculptures. Beneath the city lies an extraordinary network of ancient underground tunnels, caves, and wells — some dating back to Etruscan times — offering a glimpse into its fascinating past. The medieval streets are lined with artisan shops, charming cafés, and wine cellars serving the region’s famous Orvieto Classico white wine. With its blend of history, art, architecture, and dramatic scenery, Orvieto is truly a hidden Italian treasure.

Enjoy time at leisure in Orvieto before continuing to Rome.

Day 17 - Wednesday 30 September 2026

Rome - Vatican - Rome (B)

This morning, we’ll enjoy a half-day guided city tour of the Vatican, travelling by local coach alongside our expert local guide. Our journey begins with the world-renowned Vatican Museums, home to an unparalleled collection of art and history. We’ll marvel at Michelangelo’s breathtaking masterpiece inside the Sistine Chapel, before continuing to the awe-inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica for a short tour of its grand interior. (Headsets are included for your comfort and convenience.)

After our Vatican experience, we’ll return to the hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure — perfect for relaxing, exploring at your own pace, or indulging in a little Roman shopping.

This evening, your Sisterhood hostess will arrange a dinner venue and meet you in the lobby for another wonderful night in the Eternal City.

Day 18 - Thursday 1 October 2026

Rome (B)

This morning, we’ll embark on a captivating half-day guided tour of Rome, taking in some of the Eternal City’s most iconic sights. We’ll travel along the elegant Via Veneto and through Piazza della Repubblica before continuing down Via Nazionale to view the grand Palazzo delle Esposizioni. We’ll pause at the world-famous Trevi Fountain to toss a coin and make a wish, then stroll along Via del Corso to the awe-inspiring Pantheon.

Our tour continues with the vibrant Piazza Navona, followed by the historic Roman and Imperial Forums. At Piazza Venezia, we’ll admire the striking Tomb of the Unknown Soldier before concluding with a visit inside the legendary Colosseum, where history comes alive within its ancient walls.

The remainder of the day is yours to relax and explore at leisure, soaking up Rome’s timeless atmosphere.

Your Sisterhood hostess will be on hand to guide you toward hidden gems and must-see highlights to make the most of your free time.

This evening, we’ll come together for a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Over delicious food and wine, we’ll celebrate the laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories we’ve shared on this incredible journey through Italy.

A morning at leisure before we bid Arrivederci to Italy and head home.
