Today, we'll meet our Sisterhood Tour Hostess and fellow travellers at Melbourne Airport before boarding our flight to Ireland's vibrant capital, Dublin. As we begin our journey together, excitement builds for the unforgettable experiences, breathtaking scenery and new friendships that await us on the Emerald Isle.

Day 2 - Friday 7 May 2027

Dublin Sightseeing (D)

Welcome to Ireland!

Upon arrival in Dublin, we'll be met by our friendly local guide and driver before making our way into the heart of Ireland's vibrant capital city.

Our Irish adventure begins with a panoramic sightseeing tour of Dublin, introducing us to the city's rich history, elegant Georgian architecture and lively atmosphere. We'll admire the famous colourful Georgian doors, pass through bustling streets steeped in history and discover some of Dublin's most iconic landmarks, including Trinity College, Christchurch Cathedral, Phoenix Park and the renowned Guinness Brewery.

We'll also visit the magnificent St Patrick's Cathedral, one of Ireland's most treasured landmarks. Dating back over 800 years, this stunning Gothic cathedral is closely linked to Ireland's patron saint and is home to beautiful stained-glass windows, impressive architecture and the final resting place of Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels.

After our introduction to Dublin, we'll continue to our hotel where there will be time to settle in, relax and soak up the excitement of being in Ireland. Tonight, we'll enjoy a welcome dinner as our Emerald Isle adventure officially begins.

Day 3 - Saturday 8 May 2027

Dublin Sightseeing (B)

After breakfast, we'll step back in time and discover Dublin's fascinating Viking past during a guided Viking Legacy Trail.

Led by a colourful Viking Warrior Guide, we'll wander through Dublin's historic Medieval Quarter, uncovering the stories, myths and legends that shaped Ireland's capital. As we stroll through ancient streets and hidden corners, we'll learn how a small Gaelic settlement evolved into the thriving Viking riverside town of Dubh Linn, and later into the vibrant city we see today. This engaging and entertaining experience brings Dublin's rich history to life in a unique and memorable way.

The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Perhaps browse the city's charming shops, visit one of Dublin's many museums, relax in a cosy café, or simply soak up the lively atmosphere of this welcoming city.

Day 4 - Sunday 9 May 2027

Dublin - Belfast (B, D)

After breakfast, we'll bid farewell to Dublin and journey north through the beautiful Irish countryside towards Belfast.

Along the way, we'll visit the fascinating Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre, gateway to one of Ireland's most important archaeological treasures. Home to the ancient passage tombs of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth, this UNESCO-listed site offers a remarkable insight into a civilisation that flourished over 5,000 years ago. Through interactive displays and fascinating exhibits, we'll discover the mysteries of these extraordinary monuments and the people who built them.

One of today's special highlights is a unique Irish bread-making experience in the home of a local Northern Irish host. Nestled near the shores of Strangford Lough, we'll enjoy a warm welcome as we learn the secrets behind traditional Irish baking. Together we'll create delicious soda breads, potato bread and sweet treats, all while sharing stories, laughter and a taste of authentic Irish hospitality. Of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to sample our creations, accompanied by homemade butter, tea and local delicacies. We'll even take home recipes and our freshly baked goodies to enjoy later.

This afternoon we continue to Belfast, the vibrant capital of Northern Ireland, where we'll check into our hotel and settle in for the next stage of our Irish adventure.

Day 5 - Monday 10 May 2027

Belfast Sightseeing (B)

This morning we'll discover Belfast on a guided city tour, taking in many of the city's most famous landmarks, including City Hall, Queen's University, the beautiful Botanic Gardens and the historic Crown Bar.

We'll then gain a fascinating insight into Belfast's recent history on a Black Cab Tour, where local guides share personal stories and perspectives on The Troubles. We'll visit the famous political murals, Falls Road, Shankill Road and the Peace Wall, learning about the events that shaped modern Belfast and the journey towards peace.

This afternoon, you may choose to visit the world-renowned Titanic Belfast (optional), an award-winning interactive experience that tells the story of the legendary ship from its construction in Belfast through to its ill-fated maiden voyage.

Day 6 - Tuesday 11 May 2027

Belfast - Donegal (B, D)

After breakfast, we'll farewell Belfast and set off along the spectacular North Antrim Coast, one of Ireland's most breathtaking coastal regions.

Our first highlight is a visit to the iconic Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique hexagonal basalt columns and fascinating legends. Here we'll discover the story of the legendary giant Finn McCool while taking in the dramatic scenery of this extraordinary natural wonder.

We then continue to the historic city of Derry, where a local guide will lead us on a walking tour of Ireland's only completely walled city. As we stroll along the famous 17th-century city walls, we'll enjoy panoramic views while learning about the rich history, culture and events that have shaped this remarkable city over the centuries.

Later this afternoon, we journey onwards into the beautiful county of Donegal, known for its rugged landscapes, wild coastline and warm Irish hospitality. After checking into our hotel, we'll have time to relax before gathering for dinner.

Day 7 - Wednesday 12 May 2027

Donegal - Westport (B,D)

After breakfast, we'll depart Donegal and continue our journey through some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery en route to charming Westport.

Our day begins with a visit to Donegal Castle, a beautifully restored stronghold that tells the story of the powerful O'Donnell clan and centuries of Irish history. Set beside the River Eske, the castle offers a fascinating glimpse into Ireland's medieval past.

We then travel to the breathtaking Slieve League Cliffs, among the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Towering dramatically above the Atlantic Ocean, these rugged cliffs offer unforgettable coastal views, unspoilt landscapes and some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland.

This afternoon, we'll continue south to the picturesque town of Westport, renowned for its colourful streets, lively atmosphere and traditional Irish charm.

Tonight, we'll enjoy dinner together and settle in for our overnight stay in Westport.

Day 8 - Thursday 13 May 2027

Westport - Croagh Patrick - Westport (B)

This morning, we'll venture into the beautiful countryside surrounding Westport and visit the iconic Croagh Patrick, Ireland's most sacred mountain. Rising majestically above Clew Bay, this famous pilgrimage site offers spectacular views and a deep connection to Ireland's spiritual heritage.

Along the way, we'll stop at the National Famine Monument and the historic ruins of Murrisk Abbey, both powerful reminders of Ireland's rich and often poignant history.

Returning to Westport, we'll enjoy a guided walking tour of one of Ireland's most charming towns. With its elegant Georgian streets, colourful shopfronts, welcoming cafés and lively atmosphere, Westport perfectly captures the warmth and character of the Irish west coast. There will be time to soak up the town's unique charm, perhaps browse its boutiques, or relax over a coffee before we return to our hotel.

Connemara Region (B, D)

Today we journey into the heart of Connemara, one of Ireland's most breathtaking and unspoilt regions. Known for its dramatic mountains, sparkling lakes, rugged coastline and charming villages, Connemara is often described as the wild and romantic soul of Ireland. As we travel through this spectacular landscape, we'll discover a place where Gaelic traditions remain strong and nature takes centre stage.

A highlight of the day is our visit to the magnificent Kylemore Abbey, one of Ireland's most iconic landmarks. Set against a backdrop of mountains and lakes, this beautiful neo-Gothic estate looks as though it belongs in a fairytale. We'll explore the abbey's fascinating history, visit the charming Gothic Church and enjoy time to wander through the stunning grounds and gardens.

Throughout the day, we'll be treated to some of Ireland's most memorable scenery, including sweeping coastal views, picturesque stone cottages and the rugged beauty that made Connemara famous as the setting for the classic film The Quiet Man.

As we glide along the scenic River Corrib and out onto the tranquil waters of the lake, we'll take in stunning views of the surrounding countryside while enjoying tea, coffee and freshly baked scones. Keep an eye out for local wildlife as we soak up the peaceful atmosphere and learn about the history and heritage of this remarkable waterway.

Returning to Galway, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Widely regarded as Ireland's cultural capital, Galway is a vibrant and colourful city filled with lively streets, traditional music, charming boutiques, cosy cafés and welcoming pubs. For those who would like to explore further, there is the opportunity to visit the charming riverside town of Athlone, located in the heart of Ireland on the banks of the mighty River Shannon. Rich in history and character, Athlone is home to the impressive Athlone Castle, picturesque riverfront walks, welcoming cafés and traditional Irish pubs. It's the perfect place to experience authentic Irish hospitality while soaking up the atmosphere of one of Ireland's most historic towns.

Alternatively, you may prefer to stay in Galway and spend more time exploring this vibrant city. Wander through its colourful streets, browse artisan boutiques, listen to traditional Irish music drifting from cosy pubs, or simply relax with a coffee and watch the world go by.

Galway - The Burren - Lisdoonvarna - Limerick (B, D)

After breakfast, we'll depart Galway and journey south through the extraordinary Burren region, one of Ireland's most unique and fascinating landscapes. This remarkable area is renowned for its dramatic limestone formations, rare wildflowers, ancient monuments and rugged beauty, creating scenery unlike anywhere else in the country.

Our next highlight is a visit to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most iconic natural wonders. Towering high above the crashing Atlantic Ocean, these spectacular cliffs stretch for kilometres along the coastline and offer unforgettable panoramic views. On a clear day, you may even glimpse the Aran Islands and the distant mountains of Connemara across Galway Bay.

We'll enjoy some free time for lunch in the charming spa town of Lisdoonvarna before continuing our journey to Limerick and checking into our hotel.

Tonight promises to be one of the most memorable experiences of our Irish adventure as we step back in time for a traditional Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle. We'll be welcomed with a mead reception before enjoying a delicious feast, accompanied by music, song, and entertainment, in the grand surroundings of this beautifully restored 15th-century castle. It's a magical evening filled with laughter, storytelling and Irish hospitality.

After our unforgettable castle experience, we'll return to our hotel in Limerick for the night.

Day 13 - Tuesday 18 May 2027

Limerick - Killarney (B)

After breakfast, we'll continue our journey towards the beautiful Kingdom of Kerry, crossing the mighty River Shannon by ferry and travelling through some of Ireland's most picturesque countryside.

Along the way, we'll stop in the postcard-perfect village of Adare, renowned for its charming thatched cottages, colourful gardens and old-world Irish character—perfect for a few memorable photographs.

Arriving in Killarney, we'll enjoy one of Ireland's most iconic experiences: a traditional jaunting car ride through the stunning Killarney National Park. Relax as local jarveys share stories and local knowledge while we travel through this spectacular landscape of lakes, woodlands and mountain scenery.

We'll also visit the magnificent Muckross House and Gardens, a beautifully preserved Victorian mansion set within the heart of Killarney National Park. Surrounded by stunning gardens and overlooking the tranquil waters of Muckross Lake, this elegant estate offers a fascinating glimpse into Ireland's aristocratic past.

Later this afternoon, we'll check into our hotel and settle in for our stay in Killarney.

Day 14 - Wednesday 19 May 2027

Killarney - The Dingle Peninsula - Killarney (B,D)

Today we'll explore one of Ireland's most spectacular regions as we embark on a full-day tour of the breathtaking Dingle Peninsula.

Renowned for its dramatic coastal scenery, rich Celtic heritage and traditional Irish culture, the Dingle Peninsula is often considered one of the most beautiful drives in the world. As we travel through this stunning Gaeltacht region, where the Irish language is still spoken, we'll discover rugged mountains, golden beaches, ancient stone monuments and colourful seaside villages full of charm and character.

Highlights include the spectacular coastal route to Slea Head, where sweeping Atlantic Ocean views reveal the remote Blasket Islands and, on a clear day, the famous Skellig Islands rising from the sea. Along the way we'll pass dramatic cliffs, rolling green hills and some of Ireland's most unforgettable scenery.

This is a day to absorb the beauty of Ireland's wild west coast. Later this afternoon, we'll return to our hotel in Killarney, where we'll enjoy dinner together that night.

Day 15 - Thursday 20 May 2027

Killarney - Cork (B)

After breakfast, we'll farewell Killarney and travel east towards the vibrant city of Cork.

Along the way, we'll visit one of Ireland's most famous landmarks, Blarney Castle. Set within beautiful gardens and parklands, this historic fortress is best known for the legendary Blarney Stone, said to bestow the gift of eloquence upon those who kiss it. There will be time to explore the castle grounds, wander through the stunning gardens and perhaps test the legend for yourself!

Continuing to Cork, we'll discover why Ireland's second-largest city is often regarded as one of its most charming. We'll enjoy a short panoramic tour, including a visit to the famous English Market, a beloved Cork institution renowned for its local produce, artisan foods and lively atmosphere.

We'll also visit Cork City Gaol, a fascinating heritage site that offers a glimpse into 19th-century prison life and the stories of those who once lived behind its imposing walls.

Our day begins with a guided food tour through Kinsale's colourful streets, where we'll meet passionate local producers and sample some of the region's finest culinary delights. As we stroll through this charming harbour town, we'll discover the stories, traditions and flavours that have helped make Kinsale a favourite destination for food lovers from around the world.

We'll also enjoy a scenic drive to the dramatic Old Head of Kinsale, where breathtaking coastal views stretch across the Atlantic Ocean. Here we'll visit the poignant 9/11 Memorial Garden, a peaceful and moving tribute that commemorates the many Irish-American connections and honours those who lost their lives.

Cork - Kilkenny (B)

After breakfast, we'll depart Cork and journey towards the medieval city of Kilkenny, travelling through some of Ireland's most picturesque countryside.

Our scenic drive takes us through the beautiful Blackwater Valley, including a stop in the charming heritage town of Lismore, renowned for its historic character and stunning setting. We'll also enjoy time in Waterford, Ireland's oldest city and a place rich in Viking history.

A highlight of the day is our visit to the famous Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre, where we'll witness the extraordinary craftsmanship behind some of the world's finest crystal. From molten crystal to the finished masterpiece, we'll gain a fascinating insight into the skills and traditions that have made Waterford Crystal internationally renowned.

Later, we'll experience one of Ireland's most moving historical attractions, the Dunbrody Famine Ship. Through interactive exhibits and costumed interpreters, we'll step back in time and follow the journey of Irish emigrants who left their homeland during the Great Famine in search of a better life. It's a powerful and memorable experience that brings an important chapter of Irish history vividly to life.

Day 18 - Sunday 23 May 2027

Cork - Dublin (B)

After breakfast, we'll visit the magnificent Kilkenny Castle, one of Ireland's most iconic landmarks. Set amidst beautiful parklands, this impressive castle has stood proudly for more than 800 years and offers a fascinating glimpse into Ireland's aristocratic past. We'll explore its elegant rooms, grand interiors and rich history while discovering the stories of the powerful Butler family who once called it home.

We then journey into the beautiful Wicklow Mountains, often referred to as the "Garden of Ireland", where we'll visit the stunning monastic site of Glendalough. Nestled amongst rolling hills and tranquil lakes, this ancient settlement was founded by St Kevin in the 6th century and remains one of Ireland's most treasured heritage sites. Here we'll have time to admire the famous round tower, explore the atmospheric ruins, and enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery surrounding this peaceful valley.

Later this afternoon, we continue to Dublin, where we'll check into our hotel and enjoy our final evening in Ireland.

Today is yours to enjoy at leisure in Dublin, providing the perfect opportunity to explore more of this vibrant and historic city at your own pace.

You may choose to spend the day shopping along Grafton Street, visiting museums and galleries, relaxing in one of Dublin's beautiful parks, or simply soaking up the atmosphere in a traditional Irish café or pub. For those wishing to delve deeper into Irish culture and history, a range of optional experiences may be available, including EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, the fascinating Little Museum of Dublin, an Irish dancing experience, Gaelic games activities or a visit to the remarkable Chester Beatty Library. Your Sisterhood hostess will be happy to arrange any additional sightseeing to enjoy.

This evening, we'll come together for a memorable farewell celebration at the famous Merry Ploughboys. Widely regarded as one of Dublin's best traditional Irish music and dance experiences, this lively evening features outstanding musicians, talented dancers, great food and plenty of fun. With its warm atmosphere and authentic Irish entertainment, it's the perfect way to celebrate our wonderful journey through the Emerald Isle.
