Activity Level:
This tour is perfect for travellers with an easy level of fitness who enjoy relaxed tropical sightseeing, beautiful beaches and scenic cruising. Much of the journey is experienced by coach and boat, with gentle walking while exploring Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island, Whitehaven Beach and the surrounding Whitsundays. Travellers should be comfortable walking at a leisurely pace, boarding and disembarking coaches and cruise vessels independently and negotiating occasional steps, sandy beaches and uneven natural surfaces. Tropical heat and humidity can add to the physical demands, but there are plenty of opportunities to sit, relax and enjoy the spectacular surroundings.

Additional Meal Allowance:
Breakfast is included daily, together with a selection of lunches and dinners throughout our Whitsundays escape. There will also be opportunities to enjoy Airlie Beach’s relaxed cafés, waterfront restaurants and local eateries during our free time. For comfortable budgeting, we recommend allowing approximately AUD250 per person for meals not included, together with coffees, drinks and incidental snacks throughout the tour. Travellers wishing to enjoy regular cocktails, premium seafood or additional waterfront dining may wish to allow a little extra.

Day 1 - Tuesday 10 August 2027
Melbourne - Proserpine (D)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Meet your Sisterhood hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for our flight to the Whitsundays.
Upon arrival we are met by our coach captain and travel into Airlie Beach, the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. Spend the afternoon browsing the boutiques, sitting by the water and purchasing lunch before checking into our into our accommodation.
Tonight we gather for dinner in the resort restaurant.

Day 2 - Wednesday 11 August 2027
Whistundays Cruise (B, L, D)
After an early breakfast today we experience the wonders of the Whitsunday Islands on this full day cruise. From Port of Airlie, cruise across the Whitsunday Passage and into the Whitsunday Islands.
On Hamilton Island, hop-on/hop-off shuttle buses take us past key attractions and scenic lookouts. Cool-off in the main pool with its swim-up bar, visit iconic Catseye Beach or browse the waterfront shops and galleries before lunch at Marina Tavern.
You’ll also have the chance to explore the famous Whitehaven Beach, where you can wander along the 7km shoreline – beachcombing, bushwalking and wading in the warm, crystal-clear water.

Day 3 - Thursday 12 August 2027
Explore the Whtsundays (B)
This morning we board the coach and travel to Cedar Creek Falls. As we make your way to the falls, we’ll be treated to a scenic drive through the countryside, with views of lush cane fields and beautiful landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see. Only a short 200m stroll we'll be met with a natural, cascading waterfall situated within the Whitsundays’ tropical rainforest.
Our next stop of the day is at one of Australia's largest coffee plantations! We view the 140,000 Arabica coffee trees and taste the award winning coffee.
We make our way back into Airlie Beach via the charming historic rural town of Proserpine, known for its fertile sugar cane fields.
This afternoon we enjoy free time to swim in the pool or enjoy the crystal clear waters from our resort before enjoying dinner at our own cost - your Sisterhood hostess will suggest a venue.

Day 4 - Friday 13 August 2027
Free Day to Relax (B)
Today is ours to enjoy at leisure in the beautiful coastal town of Airlie Beach. Relax by the lagoon, browse the boutique shops, or enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the Coral Sea.
For those wishing to explore further, a range of optional activities are available, including scenic flights over the Whitsunday Islands and Heart Reef.
Meeting back at the resort this afternoon, we end the day watching the colorful palette of the sky on our sunset cruise including champagne and snacks.
Dinner at leisure tonight - your Sisterhood hostess will suggest a venue.

Day 5 - Saturday 14 August 2027
Nature and Crocodile Safari Cruise (B, L, D(
The natural attractions of the Whitsunday region do not end at the reef and islands. Local estuaries and wetlands stretch inland from the coast, to Proserpine River. This habitat is home to many species of native birds, mammals, reptiles and marine animals, including about 150 estuarine crocodiles.
Today our local guides take us on a Crocodile Safari Cruise, enjoying lunch and a traditional billy tea and damper afternoon tea along the way.
Following our tour we return to our accommodation to prepare for our farewell dinner in the resort restaurant.

After breakfast, we farewell the Whitsundays and begin our journey home.
