Day 2 - Thursday 26 November 2026

Frankfurt - Strasbourg (D)

Upon our arrival at Frankfurt Airport, where we’re warmly met by our Tour Manager and private coach, before travelling through wintery landscapes to the storybook city of Strasbourg. After checking into our hotel, enjoy free time to stretch your legs and take your first stroll through the softly lit streets, then gather for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, marking the beginning of our festive Alsace adventure together.

Travelling through the Alsace region at Christmas time feels like stepping into a living fairytale. Medieval villages glow with twinkling lights, half-timbered houses are draped in garlands, and the air is filled with the scent of mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and freshly baked gingerbread. Snow-dusted vineyards, cobbled lanes and candle-lit windows create an atmosphere that is both intimate and enchanting.

Each village has its own unique character, yet they are all united by centuries-old traditions that come alive in December. Christmas markets feel warm and welcoming rather than crowded, with local artisans, regional delicacies and festive music setting the scene. There’s a sense of slowing down here — wandering hand in hand through market stalls, lingering over wine and conversation, and soaking up moments that feel genuinely special.

Alsace at Christmas is not loud or rushed — it’s romantic, nostalgic and beautifully human. It’s the kind of place where friendships deepen, laughter flows easily, and every evening feels softly magical. Sharing this experience with a group of like-minded women makes it even more memorable — turning a Christmas journey into something truly unforgettable.

Check in at the hotel, with free time before the welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
