Melbourne - Toronto (Meals inflight, D)

Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel!  Meet your Sisterhood Tour Hostess and fellow travellers at Melbourne Airport for our flight to Toronto via Vancouver.  Sit back, relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment as we head towards Canada.  Upon arrival into Toronto we'll be transferred to our hotel.

Day 2 - Saturday 12 September 2026

Toronto (B)

This morning, we’ll set out on a half-day guided city tour of Toronto, Canada’s dynamic and multicultural metropolis. From soaring modern architecture to lively neighbourhoods, this tour reveals the very best of the city. Highlights include a visit to the iconic CN Tower (elevation included) for sweeping views across Lake Ontario, the bustling harbourfront, and the vibrant downtown core with its renowned entertainment and financial districts. We’ll admire the striking design of City Hall, see the historic Ontario Legislature, and stroll the scenic grounds of the University of Toronto. There’s time to explore the famous Eaton Centre, indulge in boutique browsing at the stylish Bloor-Yorkville district, and discover the flavours of Toronto at the lively St. Lawrence Market, one of the world’s great food halls.

Day 3 - Sunday 13 September 2026

Toronto - Niagara Falls (B)

This morning, we depart Toronto for a day of breathtaking scenery and unforgettable experiences. Our first stop is the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, often called one of the prettiest towns in Canada, nestled along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. With its tree-lined streets, historic buildings, and boutique shops, it’s the perfect place for a gentle stroll and morning refresh. From there, we follow the scenic Niagara Parkway, a route Winston Churchill once described as “the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world.” Hugging the Niagara River gorge, the parkway offers glimpses of vineyards, orchards, and dramatic river views. Upon arrival in Niagara Falls, we’ll meet our local guide for an orientation tour of the town, setting the scene for the natural wonder and thrilling experiences to come.

Day 4 - Monday 14 September 2026

Niagara Falls (B)

After breakfast, prepare for an unforgettable morning of thrills at Niagara Falls. Step aboard the Hornblower Niagara Cruise, where we’ll sail right to the base of the mighty Horseshoe Falls, feeling the mist on our face and the roar of the water all around. This iconic experience captures the true power and majesty of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. Then, rise above it all on the Niagara Falls SkyWheel, a 175-foot-high observation wheel offering sweeping views of the falls, the river, and the surrounding landscape. The rest of the day is yours at leisure to explore—wander the vibrant promenade, browse local shops, or we can simply enjoy the spectacular scenery at our own pace.

Niagara Falls - Charlottetown (B)

Today, we bid farewell to Niagara Falls and take a flight east to charming Charlottetown, on Prince Edward Island. Upon arrival, we’ll be warmly welcomed and embark on a guided city tour of this historic seaside capital, known as the birthplace of Confederation. Our exploration will showcase Victoria Row, with its quaint boutiques and cafés, the cultural heart of the city at the Confederation Centre of the Arts, and the picturesque waterfront area, where colourful houses and maritime heritage create a truly inviting atmosphere. Along the way, you’ll gain insights into Charlottetown’s pivotal role in shaping Canada’s history, while also experiencing the coastal charm that makes this city so beloved..

Day 6 - Wednesday 16 September 2026

Charlottetown (B)

Today we set out to explore the breathtaking beauty of Prince Edward Island’s North Shore. Our scenic drive takes us past striking red sandstone cliffs, sweeping white beaches, gently rolling dunes, and the emerald-green fields that frame Prince Edward Island National Park. The landscape here is iconic, offering postcard-perfect views at every turn.

A highlight of the day is a visit to the beloved Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place, the enchanting home that inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic novels. Here we’ll step into the world of Anne “with an e,” discovering both the history and the magic behind one of literature’s most enduring heroines. There will be time to stroll along the beach, breathe in the salty Atlantic air, and soak up the island’s charm. Along the way, we’ll make additional stops of interest that bring this province’s culture and natural beauty to life, creating a day filled with storytelling, history, and unforgettable scenery.

Day 7 - Thursday 17 September 2026

Charlottetown - Baddeck (B)

Wake up to a hearty breakfast before we board the ferry across the shimmering waters of the Northumberland Strait, returning to Nova Scotia. From here, our journey takes us along the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton Island, often called the Scotland of North America for its rugged beauty, Gaelic traditions, and warm Celtic spirit.

We’ll travel into the heart of the island to explore the breathtaking Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Here, mountains meet the sea in dramatic fashion—towering cliffs, pristine forests, and sweeping coastal vistas that take your breath away at every turn. The drive itself is part of the famous Cabot Trail, one of the world’s most scenic routes, offering countless opportunities to stop for photos and soak up the natural splendour. With its wild beauty and cultural richness, today’s journey captures the very essence of Atlantic Canada.

Day 8 - Friday 18 September 2026

Baddeck - Louisbourg - Halifax (B)

Step back in time today with a visit to the incredible Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. Words can scarcely capture the scale and atmosphere of this extraordinary reconstruction, which brings to life one fifth of the fortified French settlement as it stood in 1744. Wander the cobbled streets, explore period homes, and engage with authentically costumed guides who embody the characters of New France—soldiers, bakers, merchants, and townsfolk—offering stories and demonstrations that transport you to another era.

From Louisbourg, we journey along the scenic shore of the Bras d’Or Lake, taking in its tranquil waters and sweeping vistas, before returning to the mainland and continuing on to Halifax. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy an afternoon city tour of this vibrant coastal capital, with highlights including the lush Public Gardens, one of the finest surviving Victorian gardens in North America. Steeped in maritime heritage, Halifax is among the most remarkably preserved colonial settlements in the New World, where history, culture, and modern charm intertwine.

Day 9 - Saturday 19 September 2026

Halifax - South Shore touring (B)

Today we’ll journey along Nova Scotia’s rugged and scenic South Shore, a coastline famed for its beauty and maritime heritage. Our first stop is the world-famous Peggy’s Cove, where the graceful white lighthouse perches dramatically on wave-worn granite rocks, offering postcard-perfect views of the Atlantic. It’s one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world and a true Canadian icon.

From there, we’ll continue to Mahone Bay, a picture-perfect seaside village best known for its trio of elegant churches gracing the sheltered harbour—one of the most charming and photographed sights in the province.

We’ll then travel onward to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed town of Lunenburg, one of Nova Scotia’s most historic and colourful towns. Famous for its brightly painted wooden buildings and seafaring traditions, Lunenburg is also home to the Bluenose II, a replica of the legendary racing schooner that adorns Canada’s dime. Here, we’ll visit the fascinating Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, where interactive exhibits and stories from the sea bring the town’s fishing heritage to life.

Halifax - Free Day (B)

A free day in Halifax offers the perfect balance of history, charm, and seaside relaxation. Stroll along the lively Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk, one of the world’s longest, lined with boutiques, cafés, and galleries. Sit by the harbour watching ships and seaplanes come and go. Whether indulging in fresh Atlantic seafood, shopping for local artisan finds, or soaking up the ocean views, Halifax is ours to enjoy today at our own pace.

Day 11 - Monday 21 September 2026

Halifax - Digby (B)

After breakfast, we depart Halifax for the lush Annapolis Valley and learn about the French Acadians who established their first settlement in the early 1600s at Grand Pre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Learn about the facts and fiction that blend to reveal the romance of the Land of Evangeline.  Visit a local winery for a tour and tasting, then continue to Annapolis Royal to see the Historic Gardens.  Travel to Digby, the scallop capital of the world, where the fresh sea air and passionate Acadian culture combine to form an enchanting and historically rich town.

Day 12 - Tuesday 22 September 2026

Digby - Halifax - Montreal (B)

This morning we travel to the fascinating village of Bear River, less than 20 minutes from Digby. Known as the “Switzerland of Nova Scotia,” this unique community is perched on stilts along the river, which dramatically rises and falls about 25 feet twice a day with the tides of the Bay of Fundy. Its colourful heritage buildings, centuries old, now house artists, craftspeople, and galleries, creating a vibrant atmosphere of creativity amidst striking natural beauty.

From here, we continue to Hall’s Harbour, a small fishing village famous for its extreme tidal changes and lobster traditions. We’ll enjoy a unique and informative visit, learning about the rhythms of harbour life shaped by the world’s highest tides.

Later, we return to Halifax, where we’ll connect with our flight to Montreal—a city alive with culture, history, and cosmopolitan charm.

Day 13 - Wednesday 23 September 2026

Montreal (B)

After breakfast, we’ll board our chartered coach for a fascinating full-day exploration of Montreal, guided by a knowledgeable local. This vibrant city blends European charm with North American energy, and today we’ll experience its highlights. We’ll begin in the lively downtown area before stepping back in time in Old Montreal, where cobblestone streets lead us to the magnificent Notre Dame Basilica. Built in 1656, it remains one of Montreal’s crown jewels, its soaring interior adorned with exquisite wood carvings, gilded details, and stained-glass windows that tell the story of the city’s history.

Our tour continues past McGill and Concordia Universities, two of Canada’s most prestigious institutions, and onward to Mont Royal, capped by the serene beauty of St. Joseph’s Oratory. We’ll also take in the colourful Latin Quarter and Montreal’s elegant residential neighbourhoods, each revealing a different side of the city’s character.

In the afternoon, we visit the bustling Jean Talon Market, North America’s largest outdoor market, where fresh produce, flowers, and local delicacies tempt the senses. Finally, we immerse ourselves in the wonders of the Biodome, an extraordinary attraction where we’ll walk through four recreated ecosystems of the Americas—from the lush tropical rainforest to the icy sub-polar regions, where playful penguins and auks delight visitors. This unique experience showcases Montreal’s creativity and cultural flair, leaving us with a lasting appreciation for this cosmopolitan city.

Day 14 - Thursday 24 September 2026

Montreal - Quebec City (B)

This morning we depart on a scenic journey along the majestic St. Lawrence River, travelling to Quebec City, one of North America’s most enchanting and historic destinations. Upon arrival, we’ll meet our local guide for a fascinating introduction to the only fortified city north of Mexico, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our tour begins with a combination of coach and walking exploration, showcasing the city’s most iconic landmarks. We’ll see Les Plaines d’Abraham, site of the famous 1759 battle; the imposing Citadelle; the stately City Hall and Parliament buildings; and the elegant Terrace Dufferin, with its sweeping views of the river. Of course, no visit would be complete without admiring the grand Château Frontenac, perhaps the most photographed hotel in the world.

Next, we continue on foot through both the Upper and Lower Towns, discovering winding cobblestone streets, splendid architecture, and historical sites that tell the story of Quebec’s French and British heritage. Along the way, our guide will reveal the city’s diverse cultural traditions, from European influences to local Quebecois spirit.

As the day comes to an end, we’ll settle into our hotel for an overnight stay in Quebec City, with time to reflect on the romance, history, and old-world charm that make this city so unforgettable.

Today, we continue our exploration of Quebec City with a visit to breathtaking Montmorency Park. Here, the dramatic Montmorency Falls cascade 83 metres—taller than Niagara Falls—creating a thunderous and unforgettable sight. We’ll ride the cable car round trip for spectacular views of the rushing water, the St. Lawrence River, and the surrounding landscape. For those who wish, there’s time to stroll along scenic pathways or cross the suspension bridge that stretches directly over the falls—an exhilarating vantage point that truly captures their power and beauty.

After our visit, the remainder of the day is ours at leisure to continue discovering Quebec City at our own pace. Wander through cobblestoned streets lined with boutiques and cafés, relax at a riverside terrace, or immerse yourself in the city’s rich French-Canadian culture and charm.

Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to our hotel, where we’ll settle in for a two-night stay, with time to begin enjoying all that this cosmopolitan city has to offer. From waterfront walks and world-class dining to galleries, gardens, and boutique shopping, Vancouver promises the perfect mix of relaxation and discovery.

Day 17 - Sunday 27 September 2026

Vancouver (B,D)

This morning we set out on a guided half-day tour of Vancouver, a city celebrated for its breathtaking mountain and ocean backdrop combined with vibrant urban energy. We’ll explore Granville Island, famous for its lively public market, artisan studios, and waterfront cafés, before heading into the cultural heart of Chinatown, one of the largest in North America. In historic Gastown, with its cobblestone streets and the famous Steam Clock, we’ll step back into Vancouver’s beginnings before discovering the stylish boutiques and buzzing atmosphere of Robson Street, the city’s premier shopping district. Our tour concludes with a visit to Stanley Park, Vancouver’s crown jewel, where towering cedar trees, colourful totem poles, and sweeping waterfront views showcase the natural beauty that defines this remarkable city.
