Day 2 - Friday 21 May 2027

Welcome to Zagreb, Croatia!
Upon arrival, we'll transfer to our hotel for check-in and the remainder of the day at leisure.
Croatia is a country that effortlessly captures the hearts of travellers with its sparkling coastline, charming old towns, rich history, and relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle. From stunning islands and crystal-clear waters to picturesque villages and vibrant cities, Croatia offers the perfect blend of beauty, culture, and warm hospitality.
Zagreb, Croatia’s elegant capital, is a delightful introduction to the country. With its grand Austro-Hungarian architecture, lively café culture, colourful markets, and charming cobbled streets, Zagreb combines old-world charm with a vibrant modern energy. Wander through the historic Upper Town, admire the impressive cathedral, and soak up the welcoming atmosphere of this relaxed and easy-to-explore city.

Day 3 - Saturday 22 May 2027
Zagreb - Ljubljana (B,)
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll discover the charm and elegance of Zagreb on a guided tour through Croatia’s vibrant capital. Admire the city’s grand Austro-Hungarian architecture, lively squares, colourful markets, and historic Upper Town as we uncover the stories and character that make Zagreb so captivating.
Later, we continue to the picturesque city of Ljubljana, Slovenia’s charming riverside capital. With its beautiful bridges, café-lined riverbanks, baroque architecture, and relaxed atmosphere, Ljubljana is often described as one of Europe’s prettiest and most liveable cities. Enjoy a guided tour of its enchanting Old Town and soak up the welcoming local atmosphere.

Day 4 - Sunday 23 May 2027
Ljubljana - Bohinj - Bled - Ljubljana (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll venture into Slovenia’s breathtaking alpine region to visit the stunning Lake Bohinj, a peaceful glacial lake surrounded by majestic mountains and unspoilt natural beauty.
We then continue to the fairytale setting of Lake Bled, where we’ll enjoy a traditional Pletna boat ride across the crystal-clear lake to the charming island church, the Church of the Mother of God. There’ll be time to soak up the magical scenery before visiting the impressive Bled Castle, perched high above the lake with spectacular panoramic views over the Julian Alps.

Day 5 - Monday 24 May 2027
Ljubljana - Postojna - Opatija (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we journey to the incredible Postojna Cave, one of Europe’s most spectacular cave systems. With audio guides included, we’ll explore this fascinating underground world of dramatic limestone formations, vast caverns, and winding tunnels carved over millions of years.
Following our visit, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in Postojna before continuing to the beautiful coastal town of Opatija. Often referred to as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” Opatija is famed for its grand Habsburg-era architecture, seaside promenade, elegant villas, and relaxed Riviera atmosphere.

Day 6 - Tuesday 25 May 2027
Opatija - Pula - Rovinj - Opatija (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel into the heart of the beautiful Istrian Peninsula for a guided tour of Pula, a coastal city rich in Roman history and Mediterranean charm. We’ll visit the remarkably preserved Pula Arena, one of the world’s largest Roman amphitheatres, where gladiators once entertained the crowds centuries ago.
Later, we continue to the enchanting seaside town of Rovinj, often considered one of Croatia’s most picturesque destinations. With its colourful waterfront, winding cobblestone laneways, charming boutiques, and café-lined harbour, Rovinj offers a truly magical atmosphere. Enjoy a guided tour as we soak up the beauty and character of this stunning Adriatic gem.

Day 7 - Wednesday 26 May 2027
Opatija - Rastoke - N P Plitvice - Plitviceregion (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we journey to the enchanting village of Rastoke, often referred to as “Little Plitvice,” where charming wooden cottages, flowing waterfalls, and crystal-clear streams create a truly storybook setting.
We then continue to the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia’s most famous natural wonder and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. On our guided tour, we’ll explore a spectacular landscape of cascading waterfalls, turquoise lakes, lush forests, and wooden boardwalks winding through this pristine national park.
This evening, enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner before our overnight stay in the Plitvice region.

Day 8 - Thursday 27 May 2027
Plitviceregion - Zadar (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue to the beautiful coastal city of Zadar for a guided tour of its fascinating blend of Roman ruins, medieval churches, and a vibrant waterfront. Rich in history and character, Zadar is known for its charming old town, marble streets, and spectacular Adriatic sunsets.
During our visit, we’ll enter the historic Church of St. Donatus, one of Croatia’s most important pre-Romanesque landmarks, dating back to the 9th century. There’ll also be time to soak up the lively atmosphere of this stunning seaside city.

Day 9 - Friday 28 May 2027
Zadar - Makarska Hinterland - Mostar (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel through the scenic Croatian hinterland to the beautiful wine region of Vrgorac in the Makarska countryside. Here, we’ll enjoy a special private 3-course lunch at a local vineyard, perfectly paired with three regional wines, offering a delicious taste of the area’s rich culinary and winemaking traditions.
Later, we continue to the historic city of Mostar, famed for its iconic stone bridge, Ottoman architecture, and atmospheric old town. With its blend of cultures, colourful bazaars, and riverside charm, Mostar offers a truly unique and memorable experience.

Mostar - Blagaj - Mostar (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of Mostar, discovering the rich history, Ottoman influences, bustling bazaars, and the iconic Old Bridge that make this city so captivating. During our visit, we’ll pause to enjoy a traditional Bosnian coffee and typical local cake, a lovely way to experience the local culture and hospitality.
We then visit the beautiful Blagaj Tekke, a stunning Dervish monastery dramatically set beside the emerald waters of the Buna River spring beneath towering cliffs. This peaceful and picturesque setting is one of the region’s true hidden gems.
This evening, we'll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 11 - Sunday 30 May 2027
Mostar - Sibenik (B)
After breakfast, we farewell Mostar and journey back along the spectacular Adriatic coastline towards the beautiful Croatian city of Šibenik. Rich in history and coastal charm, Šibenik is known for its stunning stone architecture, winding laneways, and beautiful waterfront setting along the Adriatic Sea.
Here, excitement builds as we board our exclusive Adriatic Queen Charter, our home for the next stage of our unforgettable Croatian adventure. Embarkation begins at 2 pm. Get settled in your cabin before our afternoon program, when we will stroll the streets of Šibenik in the company of our guide. Šibenik is a historic coastal city on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, known for its charming stone streets, medieval atmosphere, and stunning sea views. The city is home to the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James, one of the most important Renaissance monuments in the country. In the evening, we have our Welcome dinner on board.
