**TIPPING**
Local tipping is customary in the United Kingdom. Sisterhood Womens Travel tipping system on all Group Tours involves passengers contributing to a kitty which is paid to the tour hostess at the beginning of the tour who then distributes it daily to service providers on your behalf. This avoids the need for you to consider individual tipping situations daily throughout your trip. The estimated amount for your tour is GBP 100, and this will be confirmed in your final documentation.

On arrival in London, we'll be met and transferred to our hotel, where the remainder of the day will be at leisure.

From iconic landmarks and royal palaces to bustling markets, world-class museums and beautiful parks, there is something to delight every traveller. Whether we're strolling along the Thames, enjoying a traditional afternoon tea, discovering hidden laneways or simply soaking up the atmosphere of this vibrant capital, London offers endless opportunities for memorable experiences. Rich in history yet constantly evolving, it's a city that captivates visitors and leaves them eager to return.

London Sightseeing (B)
Today, we'll enjoy a full day discovering some of London's most iconic landmarks with our local guide. Highlights include Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace, where we'll witness the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. Along the way, we'll learn about London's rich royal heritage, centuries of history and the traditions that continue to shape this remarkable city.
This afternoon, we'll indulge in a traditional English Afternoon Tea at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre before returning to our hotel. The remainder of the evening is free for us to relax or continue exploring London at our own pace.

Chelsea Flower Show - London Eye (B, D)
After breakfast, we'll make our way to the world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the pinnacle of horticultural excellence and one of London's most celebrated annual events. Set within the beautiful grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the show showcases breathtaking display gardens, spectacular floral exhibits and the latest innovations in garden design. We'll have time to wander among award-winning creations, discover rare and unusual plants, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of this internationally renowned showcase.
Later, we'll enjoy some sightseeing before boarding the iconic London Eye. As we gently rise above the city, we'll take in panoramic views of London's famous landmarks while savouring a glass of Champagne – a truly memorable way to experience the capital from above.
This evening, we'll come together to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

London Sightseeing (B)
Today, we'll visit the magnificent RHS Wisley Gardens, the historic home of the Royal Horticultural Society and widely regarded as one of the finest gardens in the world. With beautifully curated landscapes, vibrant seasonal displays and inspiring garden designs, Wisley offers a feast for the senses and a true celebration of horticultural excellence.
We then continue to the splendid Hampton Court Palace, the grand Tudor residence famously associated with King Henry VIII. Rich in history, opulent interiors and stunning riverside gardens, the palace offers a fascinating glimpse into royal life through the centuries. Fans of Bridgerton may also recognise Hampton Court as the setting for Queen Charlotte's residence in the beloved television series.

London - Chartwell - Dorchester (B,D)
Check out of our hotel this morning and head out to Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, before continuing on to Poundbury, stopping en route in Winchester for an orientation of the city, including entrance to Winchester Cathedral.
Once in Poundbury, we will spend the night at the Duchess of Cornwall Hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Resting on the banks of the River Frome and located between Bridport and Poole, Dorchester is the county town of Dorset. This historic market town boasts a wealth of beautiful attractions, from beautiful gardens to fascinating museums, as well as everything from quad biking to badger watching. Dorchester is filled to the brim with character, rich heritage and architectural treasures.

After breakfast, we'll visit the beautiful Compton Acres, one of the finest privately owned gardens in the United Kingdom. Renowned for its stunning themed gardens, tranquil water features and vibrant seasonal displays, this horticultural gem offers a delightful and relaxing start to our day.
We then continue to one of the world's most iconic and mysterious landmarks – Stonehenge. Standing proudly on the Salisbury Plain for more than 4,500 years, this remarkable prehistoric monument continues to captivate visitors from around the globe. As we explore the site and visitor centre, we'll uncover the fascinating history, theories and archaeological discoveries surrounding this ancient wonder, gaining insight into one of Britain's most enduring mysteries.

Day 8 - Monday 24 May 2027
Dorchester - Port Isaac - St Austell (B,D)
This morning, we'll visit the charming fishing village of Port Isaac, best known as the picturesque setting for the much-loved television series Doc Martin. Nestled along Cornwall's rugged coastline, this postcard-perfect village has been welcoming fishermen and visitors alike since the 14th century. Wander its narrow, winding lanes lined with whitewashed cottages, traditional granite homes and colourful gardens, while soaking up the timeless character and maritime heritage that make Port Isaac one of Cornwall's most enchanting destinations.
Later, we'll continue through Cornwall's stunning countryside to our hotel. This afternoon, we'll check in to the beautiful Cornwall Hotel & Spa, where spacious accommodation, tranquil surroundings and a touch of luxury provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind after a wonderful day of sightseeing.

St Austell - Bath - Hereford (B,D)
After breakfast, we'll travel to the beautiful city of Bath, renowned for its elegant Georgian architecture and rich Roman heritage. Here, we'll visit the remarkably preserved Roman Baths, one of Britain's most significant ancient sites. Built around natural thermal springs that still flow today, the complex offers a fascinating glimpse into life during Roman times, with ancient bathing chambers, interactive exhibits and captivating stories of the people who once gathered here.
For fans of Bridgerton, Bath is also a delight, having served as the backdrop for many scenes in the popular series. We'll see several recognisable filming locations, including the magnificent Royal Crescent, which featured as the Featherington family home, and other charming streets that brought Regency England to life on screen.
Continuing through Bristol, we'll pause to admire the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, which dramatically spans the Avon Gorge and offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
Later, we'll arrive in Hereford, where we'll settle into our elegant Georgian manor hotel nestled amidst the rolling countryside between Hereford and the picturesque town of Ross-on-Wye. This evening, we'll come together to enjoy dinner at our hotel.

This morning, we'll enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Hereford Cathedral, home to centuries of history, stunning architecture and the world-famous Mappa Mundi, one of the most treasured medieval maps in existence.
From here, we'll journey through the beautiful Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty renowned for its rolling countryside and charming villages. We'll make a stop in the delightful Welsh town of Llangollen, where you'll have free time to wander its quaint streets, browse local shops or simply relax and soak up the welcoming atmosphere.
Our scenic drive continues over the spectacular Horseshoe Pass, one of North Wales' most breathtaking mountain roads, offering sweeping views across the surrounding valleys and countryside.
Later, we'll arrive in the charming market town of Ruthin, where warm Welsh hospitality awaits. Tonight promises to be a truly memorable experience as we check into our very own castle, where history, character and a touch of magic combine for an unforgettable stay.

Following a hearty full English breakfast, we'll travel to the historic city of Chester, where we'll enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour and free time to explore at our leisure. With its beautifully preserved Tudor architecture, unique medieval shopping galleries known as The Rows, and charming cobbled streets, Chester is one of England's most picturesque cities.
Later, we'll continue north into the breathtaking Lake District, one of Britain's most beloved and scenic regions. Renowned for its shimmering lakes, rolling hills, dramatic mountain landscapes and storybook villages, this UNESCO World Heritage-listed destination has inspired poets, artists and travellers for centuries. Along the way, we'll enjoy views of the spectacular countryside before arriving in Penrith, our gateway to this beautiful region.
Upon arrival at our hotel, there will be time to settle in, relax and soak up the tranquil atmosphere of the Lake District.

Holker Hall is the home of the Cavendish family, who happily welcome their visitors to one of the best-loved stately homes in Britain. Magnificently situated only a short distance from Grange-over-Sands and the expanse of Morecambe Bay, Holker Hall is set in exceptionally beautiful countryside with gardens that merge into Parkland framed by the Lakeland Hills.

Lake District - Sightseeing (B,D)
Today, we'll step into the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter with a visit to Hill Top, the beloved farmhouse where the famous author and illustrator found inspiration for many of her treasured stories. Preserved much as she left it, this charming home offers a fascinating glimpse into her life and the characters that continue to delight generations of readers.
We then continue to the picturesque village of Hawkshead, one of the Lake District's most charming and historic settlements. With its whitewashed cottages, cobbled lanes, hidden courtyards and flower-filled squares, Hawkshead perfectly captures the timeless beauty of rural England. We'll have free time to wander at our leisure, browse the quaint shops and cafés, and soak up the village's rich history, including connections to poet William Wordsworth, who attended school here.
Later, we'll travel to beautiful Bowness-on-Windermere, where we'll board a scenic cruise on England's largest lake. Surrounded by stunning fells, wooded shorelines and postcard-perfect landscapes, this relaxing cruise provides the perfect opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Lake District from the water.

Today, we bid farewell to the stunning landscapes of the Lake District and journey north into Scotland. Along the way, we'll visit the famous village of Gretna Green, renowned worldwide as a symbol of romance. For centuries, couples crossed the border to marry here under Scotland's more relaxed marriage laws, creating a legacy of love and elopements that continues to this day. We'll have time to explore the village and discover the stories behind this iconic destination.
Continuing through Scotland's picturesque Lowlands, we'll make our way to the elegant capital of Edinburgh. Before arriving at our hotel, we'll visit the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, home to magnificent collections of plants, colourful seasonal displays and tranquil landscaped grounds.
This evening, we'll immerse ourselves in Scottish culture at the renowned Spirit of Scotland Show. Enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by traditional music, lively entertainment and spectacular Highland dancing for a memorable introduction to Scotland's rich heritage and warm hospitality.

Today, we'll discover the many treasures of Edinburgh on a half-day guided sightseeing tour of Scotland's captivating capital. Renowned for its rich history, striking architecture and dramatic setting, Edinburgh effortlessly blends medieval charm with elegant Georgian grandeur.
Our tour will showcase many of the city's highlights, including the impressive Scott Monument, the elegant streets of the New Town and the atmospheric Old Town. We'll stroll along the famous Royal Mile, lined with historic buildings, hidden closes and centuries of fascinating stories, while soaking up the unique character of this remarkable city.
A highlight of the day is our visit to Edinburgh Castle, perched high atop Castle Rock and commanding spectacular views over the city. As one of Scotland's most iconic landmarks, the castle is home to centuries of royal history, treasured artefacts and some of the nation's most important historical treasures.

After breakfast, we'll begin our journey south, stopping first at the fascinating Rosslyn Chapel. Made famous by The Da Vinci Code, this extraordinary 15th-century chapel is renowned for its intricate stone carvings, mysterious symbolism and centuries of legend. During our guided visit, we'll uncover the stories behind one of Scotland's most remarkable and enigmatic buildings, which continues to serve as a place of worship today.
We then travel to the charming town of Melrose to visit Abbotsford House, the magnificent former home of celebrated Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. On our guided tour, we'll explore the beautifully preserved house and its impressive collection of artefacts, artworks and personal treasures that inspired many of Scott's famous poems and novels. Surrounded by picturesque gardens and the rolling Scottish Borders countryside, Abbotsford offers a fascinating insight into the life and legacy of one of Scotland's greatest literary figures.

Harrogate - York - Harrogate (B,D)
After breakfast, we'll travel to the historic city of York, one of England's most enchanting and best-preserved medieval cities. Here, we'll visit the magnificent York Minster, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Northern Europe. Renowned for its breathtaking stained-glass windows, soaring architecture and centuries of fascinating history, this iconic landmark is a true masterpiece and one of England's most treasured attractions.
We'll also explore the famous Shambles, a wonderfully preserved medieval street lined with overhanging timber-framed buildings, charming boutiques and quaint cafés. Believed to be one of the best-preserved medieval streets in the world, it has narrow cobbled laneways and a storybook atmosphere, making it one of York's most photographed and beloved locations.
This afternoon, we'll visit the spectacular Castle Howard, one of England's most magnificent stately homes and a filming location for Bridgerton, where it served as the Duke of Hastings' grand estate. Set amidst 1,000 acres of glorious parkland, gardens, lakes, fountains and woodland, Castle Howard offers breathtaking views across the rolling Howardian Hills. We'll have time to explore both the opulent interiors and beautiful grounds of this remarkable estate.

Day 18 - Thursday 3 June 2027
Harrogate - Woodstock - Oxford (B)
Today we depart Harrogate and head south to Stratford-upon-Avon, where we'll view the main sights of this gorgeous little town. Stratford-upon-Avon is steeped in the history of its most famous resident, William Shakespeare. This Warwickshire country town contains the home where Shakespeare was born, the cottage where Anne Hathaway resided before their marriage, and the church where the couple is buried.
We'll continue on through the pretty villages of the Cotswolds, making a stop in one of the quaint villages before our visit to Blenheim Palace and Gardens. Another location for Bridgerton fans who can immerse themselves in the Regency Era of the 19th Century. The palace, one of England's largest houses, was built between 1705 and circa 1722, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, and once the home of Sir Winston Churchill.
We'll arrive in Oxford, our last stop for the day, with dinner at leisure. Your Sisterhood hostess will suggest a venue.

Oxford - Windsor - London (B)
A relaxed morning at leisure before we journey from Oxford to Windsor to visit the iconic Windsor Castle.
Dating back to the time of William the Conqueror, Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and remains one of the principal official residences of the British monarch. Set in the county of Berkshire, its rich history spans nearly 1,000 years, evolving from a strategic fortress into a magnificent royal palace.
Throughout the centuries, successive kings and queens have shaped the castle, leaving their mark on its architecture and legacy. From times of peace, when grand State Apartments were added, to periods of conflict, when it was heavily fortified, the castle reflects the changing story of the monarchy itself. It was also a cherished residence of Queen Elizabeth II, who spent many weekends here for both official duties and private retreats.
