Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday 11 April 2026
Melbourne - Geelong - Queenscliff (D)
Meet your Sisterhood hostess and fellow travellers at the designated Bus Bay Southern Cross Coach Terminal, 205 Spencer Street Melbourne 9am.
Queenscliff is surrounded on three sides by water, giving the town large stretches of coastline, consisting of a combination of sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, cliffs and historic piers.
On our way to Queenscliff, we'll stop at Geelong Gallery for a private tour. The gallery was established in 1896 and is one of Australia’s leading art galleries, with a magnificent collection of Australian and European painting, sculpture and decorative arts dating from the 18th century. The Gallery’s outstanding collection includes many works of national significance. Currently on display is Claud Monet’s, Haystacks.
We then travel to Leura Park Estate for a chef’s selection shared grazing lunch. Established in 1995, Leura Park Estate has established itself as a renowned producer of premium cool maritime climate wines.
Onto another private tour, Fort Queenscliff situated on Shortland’s Bluff overlooking Port Phillip Bay. Built in 1860 it’s one of Australia’s largest and best-preserved 19th-century coastal fortifications. Spanning seven hectares, the fort features a dry moat, defensive keep with walls nearly 1.5 metres thick and a network of underground tunnels. The fort is home to Australia’s only Black Lighthouse, constructed from dark basalt to distinguish it from nearby white lighthouse.
We'll check into the Sea View Inn for our 1-night stay, before enjoying an early dinner at 360Q an iconic venue situated on the waterfront.
Now to our main event - The Blues Train! We will arrive around 7pm, giving us time to grab a drink and soak up the anticipation before the train departs at 7:30 pm. As the night rolls on, we journey through the Bellarine, swapping carriages at three stops to catch all four incredible blues and roots acts. The night wraps up back in Queenscliff around 11:00 pm. At the end of the night, we'll be transferred back to our hotel.
Overnight - Seaview House (or similar)
Day 2 – Sunday 12th April 2026
Queenscliff - Sorrento - Melbourne (D)
Sundays a more relaxed pace and start to the day. After a continental breakfast, we'll have the chance to explore the seaside hamlet of Queenscliff including the string of boutique shops of Hesse Street.
Jump on Rosa, head to the harbour and aboard the ferry to Sorrento. We have an afternoon for lunch and explore all this popular seaside place has to offer. It’s a sophisticated blend of coastal elegance and historic charm. Browse unique boutiques, where high-end Australian and international designer labels sit alongside curated vintage finds and fine jewellery. Beyond the shops, the town's natural beauty shines through scenic strolls along the Millionaire's Walk or relax on Sorrento Front Beach. Head back to Melbourne return around 5pm.
