Day One - Saturday 8 August 2020

Melbourne - Violet Town - Bright (D)

Welcome to our 3 Day Beautiful in Bright Getaway.  Meet at our designated depature point in Melbourne at 8.30am.  Here we'll travel to Violet Town in the Goulburn Valley home to one of the best country markets.  We'll spend some time browsing the 230 plus stalls with the opportunity to fill your sisterhood shopping bag with all sorts of goodies. Lunch can be enjoyed at the market with an array of tasty delights on offer before we continue onto Bright via Myrtleford.  In Myrtleford, we'll visit the fabulous Moroccan inspired Red Ramia Trading offering all sorts of exotic offerings from mosaic tiles to fountains. This is a great stop along the way with time to browse and enjoy a coffee before continuing on our travels to Bright, one of the prettiest towns in the Victorian Alpine region. Tonight we'll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant after settling into our hotel.

Day Two - Sunday 9 August 2020

Explore Bright (AT)

Today we'll enjoy breakfast downtown with a morning free to wander the eclectic shops of Bright at leisure.  This afternoon we'll travel to the nearby town of Wandiligong to enjoy afternoon tea and a visit to the famous maze with it's beautiful garden which has been featured in House and Garden. Tonight we'll enjoy dinner a local restaurant.

Day Three - Monday 10 August 2020

Bright - Beechworth - Bright

Today we'll travel to the historic gold town of Beechworth.  Take a step back in time and follow the journey of Beechworth's fascinating history, from pioneers looking to strike it rich in the goldfields, to the region's indigenous people, to some of Australia's most notorious bushrangers. We'll begin our visit with a guided walk and talk learning all about the local history including tales of Ned Kelly.  Afterwards, there's plenty of time to wander the streets and discover the perfectly preserved buildings of Beechworth or visit the living museums of the Beechworth Historic & Cultural Precinct.  Lunch can be enjoyed at one of the many cafes in the main street before our return to Bright in the afternoon.  Dinner tonight at a local restaurant.

Day Four - Tuesday 11 August 2020

Bright - Milawa - Melbourne (L)

Today after breakfast downtown, we'll check out of our hotel in Bright and travel to Milawa home to the famous Milawa Cheese factory.  With time to taste and purchase cheese and other products offered here, we'll have time to wander the few shops in the main street to continue our foodie trail before travelling the short distance to Brown Brothers to enjoy lunch.  After our delicious lunch we head home to Melbourne arriving back around 6pm.
