Day One - Saturday 13 November 2021
Melbourne - Violet Town - Beechworth (L,D)
Welcome to our 4 Day Alpine Mini Break. Please meet your Tour Hostess Hayley Morris at the T Intersection of Lonsdale and Spencer Street (opposite side to Southern Cross) no later than 8.0am. We begin our travels to Violet Town a small but vibrant town in the Goulburn Valley; home to one of the best country markets. We'll spend some time browsing the 230 plus stalls with the opportunity to fill your sisterhood shopping bag with all sorts of goodies. We then continue on to enjoy a lovely lunch at Brown Brothers in Milawa where afterwards there will be time to browse the small shopping precinct including Milawa Mustards, the Olive Shop and the nearby Milawa Cheese Company. Then it's onto Beechworth for our overnight stay including dinner.

Day Two - Sunday 14 November 2021
Beechworth - Myrtleford - Bright
Today after breakfast downtown (and checkout), it's time to take a step back in time and follow the journey of Beechworth's fascinating history, from pioneers looking to strike it rich in the goldfields, to the region's indigenous people, to some of Australia's most notorious bushrangers. We'll begin at 9.00am with a guided walk and talk learning all about the local history including tales of Ned Kelly. Afterwards, there's plenty of time to wander the streets and discover the perfectly preserved buildings of Beechworth or visit the living museums of the Beechworth Historic & Cultural Precinct. With time for lunch (own cost) before departing to Bright via Myrtleford where we'll visit the fabulous Moroccan inspired Red Ramia Trading offering all sorts of exotic trinkets from mosaic tiles to fountains. Arriving into Bright we'll check in and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (own cost).

Day Three - Monday 15 November 2021
Bright Sightseeing (L)
Today we'll enjoy breakfast downtown with a morning free to wander the eclectic shops of Bright at leisure. For lunch, we'll travel to 5 Acres (formerly Wandiligong Maze) to enjoy a lovely buffet lunch whilst admiring the beautiful garden surrounds before visiting Nightingale Brothers Alpine Produce Store for a browse. Returning to Bright with time to freshen up before dinner at a local restaurant (own cost).

Day Four - Tuesday 16 November 2021
Bright - Benalla - Melbourne
Another free morning in Bright before beginning our journey home stopping at Benalla to enjoy a panoramic guided tour of the amazing street art that adorns many of the town's main street and beyond. We then head back to Melbourne arriving in around 6pm. We thank you for travelling with Sisterhood Womens Travel and we look forward to welcoming you back for your next adventure.
