The accommodation throughout the Moroccan portion of our itinerary may offer rooms of different sizes. We will endeavour to be fair with the room allocations.  Riad-style accommodation (Morocco) may have stairs, so be prepared for the physicality of getting to and from your room on occasion. You will be expected to carry your own luggage to your room unless you are prepared to tip a porter.

Bienvenidos a España! Welcome to the vibrant coastal city of Malaga, the gateway to Spain’s stunning Costa del Sol. Upon arrival, we will be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel. Take some time to settle in and soak up the atmosphere of this charming city, known for its rich history, beautiful waterfront, lively plazas and Mediterranean flair. This evening, we will gather together for a welcome dinner, a wonderful opportunity to meet our fellow travellers and toast the beginning of our Spanish adventure.

Malaga Sightseeing :(B, D)

This morning, we explore the highlights of Malaga on a guided walking tour, including the impressive Alcazaba and its beautifully preserved Moorish architecture. We will also visit the Roman Theatre and discover the vibrant heart of the city. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore at your own pace, perhaps visiting the renowned Picasso Museum. This evening, we come together for a delicious culinary experience through Malaga’s Old Town, sampling traditional tapas and regional wines at a selection of local restaurants and wine bars.

Day 4 - Tuesday 5 October 2027

Malaga - Ronda - Sevilla (B, L)

Today we farewell Malaga and journey through the beautiful landscapes of Andalucía towards the enchanting city of Sevilla. Along the way, we visit the picturesque whitewashed town of Ronda, dramatically perched above a deep gorge and connected by Spain’s iconic Puente Nuevo bridge.

We enjoy a guided walking tour through this historic town, including visits to the elegant Casa Don Bosco Museum and the famous bullring, regarded as the spiritual home of Spanish bullfighting. Following our tour, we will savour a delicious lunch at one of Ronda’s favourite local restaurants, complete with included drinks.

This afternoon, we continue to Sevilla and enjoy some free time to begin exploring this captivating city. Perhaps take a stroll to admire the striking Setas de Sevilla, a modern architectural landmark located in Plaza de la Encarnación. The evening is ours to enjoy at leisure. Day 5 - Wednesday 6 October 2027

Sevila Sightseeing (B, D)

Today we discover the rich history, culture and architectural splendour of Sevilla with a guided walking tour led by a local expert. Our morning begins at the magnificent Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and one of Spain’s most treasured landmarks. Built on the site of a former mosque, this remarkable building reflects the city’s fascinating blend of cultures and centuries of history.

We continue with a visit to the renowned Bordados Paquili workshop, where master artisans create exquisite traditional embroidery for religious brotherhoods and Spain’s celebrated bullfighting traditions.

Next, we explore the breathtaking Royal Alcázar, one of Sevilla’s most iconic attractions. This extraordinary palace complex showcases stunning Moorish architecture, intricate tilework, elegant courtyards and beautifully landscaped gardens, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of Andalucía’s past.

The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy Sevilla at your own pace. Perhaps wander through the magnificent Plaza de España, stroll beneath the orange trees of the beautiful María Luisa Gardens, or simply soak up the atmosphere of this vibrant city.

This evening, we come together to enjoy dinner in a lively local restaurant, sharing good food, local flavours and wonderful company.

Day 6 - Thursday 7 October 2027

Sevilla (B,

This morning we immerse ourselves in the flavours of Andalucía with a delightful foodie experience in Sevilla’s charming Triana district, renowned for its colourful history, vibrant atmosphere and strong gypsy heritage. We stroll through the historic Triana Market, discovering the stories, traditions and local characters that have made this bustling marketplace the heart of the community for generations.

Along the way, we savour a selection of authentic Spanish delicacies, including Iberian ham, olives, Manchego cheese and traditional sweets, perfectly paired with local and Spanish wines.

The remainder of the day is free for us to explore Sevilla at our own pace. Perhaps wander through the enchanting lanes of the Santa Cruz Quarter, filled with hidden courtyards, flower-filled balconies and lively plazas, or visit the magnificent Casa de Pilatos, one of the city's finest palaces.

Day 7 - Friday 8 October 2027

Sevilla - Carmona - Cordoba (B)

Today we leave Sevilla and travel to the enchanting city of Cordoba, once one of the most important cities in Europe and a shining centre of culture, learning and religious harmony during the Moorish era. With its maze of cobbled laneways, flower-filled patios and rich blend of Christian, Jewish and Islamic influences, Cordoba is one of Andalucía’s most captivating destinations.

Along the way, we stop in the charming town of Carmona, dominated by the impressive Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro fortress. We enjoy a leisurely stroll through its historic streets before pausing for coffee at the beautiful Parador, housed within a restored Andalusian palace and offering spectacular views across the surrounding countryside.

Arriving in Cordoba, we have free time to enjoy lunch at leisure before joining a local guide to discover the city's remarkable heritage. Our walking tour takes us through the atmospheric Judería, the historic Jewish Quarter, where narrow winding lanes, whitewashed buildings and hidden courtyards create a truly magical atmosphere.

The highlight of our visit is the extraordinary Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, one of Spain’s most iconic landmarks. Originally built in the 8th century and expanded over several centuries, it became one of the largest and most significant Islamic monuments in the world before being transformed into a Christian cathedral in the 13th century. Its striking forest of red-and-white arches and fascinating blend of architectural styles make it one of the most unforgettable sights in Spain.

Day 8 - Saturday 9 October 2027

Cordoba - Sierra Subbetica - Granada (B, L)

Today we enjoy a scenic journey through the beautiful Sierra Subbética Mountains, passing rolling olive groves, dramatic landscapes and picturesque whitewashed villages along the way.

Our first stop is the charming mountain village of Zuheros, considered one of Andalucía’s most beautiful pueblos blancos. Here, we will enjoy a special olive oil tasting experience and learn about the traditions behind one of Spain’s most celebrated products. Spain is the world's leading producer of olive oil, and today we will sample some of the region’s finest varieties before enjoying a delicious local lunch.

This afternoon, we continue to Granada, Spain’s captivating Moorish city, nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Rich in history, culture and atmosphere, Granada is one of Andalucía’s true highlights.

The remainder of the day is free to explore at leisure. Perhaps wander through the elegant city centre or enjoy Granada’s famous tapas culture, where a drink is often accompanied by a complimentary tapa.

Day 9 - Sunday 10 October 2027

Granada Sightseeing including Alhambra Palace (B)

Today is undoubtedly one of the highlights of our Spanish adventure as we visit the magnificent Alhambra Palace and the beautiful Generalife Gardens. Perched high above Granada, the Alhambra is one of Spain’s most treasured landmarks and a masterpiece of Moorish architecture. We will explore its stunning palaces, intricate courtyards, ornate archways and spectacular gardens while learning about the fascinating history of the Nasrid rulers who once governed Al-Andalus.

Following our guided visit, there is free time to enjoy lunch at leisure, perhaps in one of the charming cafés or tapas bars of the historic Albaicín Quarter, Granada’s atmospheric old Arab district.

This afternoon, we immerse ourselves in one of Andalucía’s most passionate traditions by taking part in an interactive flamenco experience. Discover the rhythm, energy, and emotion of this iconic art form as we learn some basic steps and movements in a fun, engaging class.

Day 10 - Monday 11 October 2027

Granada - Consuegra - Madrid (B, L)

Today we journey north towards Spain’s elegant capital, Madrid. Along the way, we stop in the historic town of Consuegra, home to the iconic windmills that inspired Cervantes’ famous tale of Don Quixote. Standing proudly on the hillside alongside the medieval castle, these distinctive white windmills offer spectacular views across the plains of La Mancha and bring one of Spain’s most beloved literary stories to life.

After a brief visit, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Madrid, a city renowned for its grand boulevards, beautiful architecture, world-class museums and vibrant atmosphere.

Upon arrival, the remainder of the afternoon is free to explore at leisure. Perhaps take a stroll through the beautiful Retiro Park, Madrid’s green oasis, relax at a café in one of the city's elegant plazas, or simply soak up the energy of Spain’s captivating capital.

Day 11 - Tuesday 12 October 2027

Madrid Sightseeing (B, D)

This morning we discover the rich history and grandeur of Madrid on a guided walking tour with a local expert. As we wander through the city's historic heart, we will uncover the layers of Madrid's past, from its medieval origins to the influence of the Bourbon dynasty that helped shape the elegant capital we see today. Along the way, we admire magnificent squares, historic churches, grand buildings and traditional shops that reflect the city's unique character and charm.

Our tour culminates with a visit to the spectacular Royal Palace, one of Europe's largest and most impressive royal residences. Built to showcase the power and prestige of the Spanish monarchy, the palace dazzles with its opulent interiors, magnificent halls and priceless artworks. While the Spanish Royal Family no longer resides here, it remains the setting for important state ceremonies and official occasions.

The remainder of the day is free for us to explore Madrid at our own pace. Perhaps visit the world-renowned Prado Museum, home to masterpieces by Velázquez and Goya, or discover the contemporary treasures of the Reina Sofía Museum.

This evening, we come together to celebrate the end of our Spanish adventure with a memorable farewell dinner at a traditional local restaurant.

Day 12 - Wednesday 13 October 2027

Madrid - Tangier - Chefchaouen (B. D)

Today we bid adiós to Spain and journey south to Morocco, where a new and fascinating chapter of our adventure begins. Upon arrival in Tangier, we are welcomed by our Moroccan Tour Leader and private driver before setting off to discover the magic of northern Morocco. Tangier, a captivating port city where Africa and Europe almost meet. Rich in history, culture and international influences, Tangier has long inspired artists, writers and travellers from around the world.  

From here, we travel through to the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen. Nestled amongst the mountains, Chefchaouen is one of Morocco’s most photogenic destinations. Famous for its maze of blue-washed laneways, flower-filled courtyards and relaxed atmosphere, the city feels worlds away from the bustling imperial cities that await us later in our journey.

After checking into our accommodation, we have time to settle in, soak up the mountain views and enjoy our first evening in this magical corner of Morocco.

Day 13 - Thursday 14 October 2027

Chefchaouen - Fes (B, D)

After breakfast, we take time to discover the magic of Chefchaouen on a relaxed guided walk through one of Morocco’s most enchanting towns. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is renowned for its maze of blue-painted laneways, charming plazas and laid-back atmosphere. Rather than rushing from sight to sight, we will simply soak up the unique character of this beautiful mountain town as we wander past local bakeries, artisan workshops, colourful doorways and hidden corners waiting to be photographed.

There will be time to browse local handicraft stores, enjoy a Moroccan mint tea in a café overlooking the medina, or simply lose ourselves amongst the countless shades of blue that have made Chefchaouen famous around the world.

Late this morning, we farewell the Blue Pearl of Morocco and journey south towards the imperial city of Fes. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and enjoy some time to relax before gathering for dinner this evening.

Day 14 - Friday 15 October 2027

Fes Sightseeing (B)

Today we delve into the heart and soul of Fes, Morocco’s oldest Imperial City and widely regarded as the country's cultural and spiritual capital. With our local guide, we explore the remarkable medina of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed labyrinth of winding alleyways, bustling souks, hidden courtyards and centuries-old traditions that have changed little over time.

As we wander through this fascinating living museum, we will discover artisan workshops, traditional neighbourhoods, intricate architecture and vibrant markets. Depending on access, our visit may include the famous tanneries, historic medersas, the Nejjarine Quarter, and a variety of craft workshops where skilled artisans continue to practice techniques passed down through generations.

This afternoon, we enjoy a special cultural experience, which may include a traditional Moroccan tea and pastry tasting or a relaxed conversation and cultural exchange with local women, offering a unique opportunity to connect with everyday life in Morocco.

This evening, we gather together for dinner in our beautiful riad, surrounded by the warmth and atmosphere that make Fes so unforgettable.

Day 15 - Saturday 16 October 2027

Fes - Volubilis - Rabat (B, D)

After breakfast, we depart Fes and travel through Morocco’s fertile countryside to the remarkable archaeological site of Volubilis. Once a thriving Roman settlement, Volubilis is Morocco’s most significant Roman ruin and offers a fascinating glimpse into a chapter of history many travellers are surprised to discover. As we explore the site with our guide, we will admire beautifully preserved mosaics, grand columns and ancient streets, all set against sweeping views of olive groves and rolling hills.

From here, we continue to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital and one of the country’s four Imperial Cities. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Rabat offers a refined blend of history, culture and modern Moroccan life. Less hectic than some of Morocco’s other major cities, Rabat is known for its broad boulevards, beautiful gardens and relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Upon arrival, we check into our hotel with time to relax before dinner.

Day 16 - Sunday 17 October 2027

Rabat - Essaouira (B, D)

This morning we explore Rabat, Morocco’s graceful capital city. Our visit will include the iconic Hassan Tower, the magnificent Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the picturesque Kasbah of the Oudayas, where whitewashed streets and ocean views provide a glimpse into the city's rich history and coastal charm.

We then begin our journey south towards the seaside gem of Essaouira. While this is the longest driving day of our itinerary, the journey is part of the experience, offering an ever-changing landscape of countryside, coastal scenery and everyday Moroccan life. We will travel at a relaxed pace, with regular comfort stops and a leisurely lunch break along the way.

Arriving in Essaouira by late afternoon or early evening, we are welcomed by one of Morocco’s most charming coastal towns. With its windswept beaches, historic Portuguese ramparts, bustling fishing harbour and laid-back atmosphere, Essaouira offers a refreshing contrast to Morocco’s Imperial Cities. Known as the "Windy City of Africa," this UNESCO-listed destination has long attracted artists, musicians and travellers seeking its unique blend of history, culture and coastal beauty.

This evening, we gather together for dinner at our riad or a nearby local restaurant before settling in for our overnight stay in this enchanting Atlantic seaside town.

Day 17 - Monday 18 October 2027

Essaouira Sightseeing (B)

After breakfast, we discover the charms of Essaouira, one of Morocco’s most captivating coastal towns and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed gem. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, artistic spirit and Atlantic Ocean setting, Essaouira offers a refreshing change of pace from Morocco’s bustling Imperial Cities.

With our local guide, we explore the historic medina, wander through the impressive Skala ramparts overlooking the ocean, visit the colourful fishing harbour and discover artisan workshops, galleries and the city's fascinating former Jewish Quarter. Throughout the day, we will gain insight into the rich blend of cultures that have shaped this unique seaside town over the centuries.

The afternoon is free to enjoy Essaouira at your own pace. Browse the local boutiques and artisan stores, indulge in a traditional hammam experience, stroll along the beach, relax in a waterfront café or simply soak up the town’s laid-back atmosphere.

After breakfast, we farewell the Atlantic coast and journey inland towards the vibrant city of Marrakech. Along the way, we enjoy scenic views of Morocco’s diverse landscapes, with comfort stops to stretch our legs and take in the surroundings.

By early afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech, Morocco’s legendary Red City and one of the most exciting destinations in North Africa. A feast for the senses, Marrakech is renowned for its bustling souks, hidden riads, fragrant spice markets, ornate palaces and lively atmosphere.

After checking into our beautiful riad, the remainder of the afternoon is free to relax and settle in. Perhaps unwind with a spa treatment, enjoy a refreshing mint tea in the riad courtyard, or venture out for your first independent stroll through the winding laneways of the medina, where every corner reveals something new and fascinating.

This evening, we gather together for dinner at our riad and soak up the magic and atmosphere of Marrakech as our Moroccan adventure continues.

Marrakech Sightseeing (B, L)

Today we immerse ourselves in the sights, sounds and stories of Marrakech, one of the most captivating cities in the world. With our local guide, we explore beyond the surface to gain a deeper understanding of the city's rich history, vibrant culture and enduring traditions.

Our guided discovery includes the iconic Koutoubia area, the magnificent Bahia Palace and the labyrinth of souks and artisan quarters that make Marrakech so famous. As we wander through hidden corners of the medina, we will learn about daily life, traditional craftsmanship, architecture and the fascinating evolution of this ancient trading city. From intricate tilework and carved cedar wood to colourful spice stalls and bustling workshops, every turn reveals another layer of Marrakech’s unique character.

The afternoon is free to enjoy at your own pace. Browse the vibrant souks for treasures and handmade crafts, indulge in a traditional hammam or spa experience, relax at a rooftop café, or simply continue exploring the magical laneways of the medina.

Marrakech Sightseeing (B,

This morning, we visit the stunning Majorelle Garden, one of Marrakech’s most beautiful and iconic attractions. Arriving early with pre-booked entry, we can enjoy this peaceful oasis of exotic plants, vibrant blue architecture and tranquil water features before the crowds arrive. For those interested in fashion and design, a visit to the nearby Yves Saint Laurent Museum may also be included.

We then enjoy a hands-on Moroccan cooking class, beginning with an introduction to traditional spices and ingredients before preparing a selection of authentic local dishes. The experience concludes with a delicious lunch featuring our creations.

The afternoon is free to relax, shop in the souks, enjoy a spa treatment or continue exploring Marrakech at your own pace.

An optional cultural experience featuring traditional Moroccan styling, henna and mint tea may also be arranged at the riad later in the day.
