Our River Cruise has come to an end but what an unforgettable journey giving us Sisters a fantastic experience. Drifting along the beautiful rivers of Germany and Austria, watching how the fascinating locks work we were treated to postcard perfect scenery, charming medieval villages and historic towns, many with the familiar the "-berg" ending that seemed to become a theme of the trip.
Each stop offered something unique from cobblestone streets and magnificent castles to centuries-old churches, cathedrals and palaces along with warm local hospitality. Whether wandering through the gorgeous historical towns to sampling regional cuisine or soaking up the breathtaking scenery every day brought a new highlight.
Our adventure concluded in the enchanting city of Prague. With its stunning architecture, the iconic Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and the vibrant Old Town, it was the perfect finale to an incredible European journey.
What made this experience even more special was sharing it with a fabulous group of Sisters. The laughter, friendship, support and memories we created together made every moment even more meaningful. We started as strangers but ended as friends. Travel is always wonderful, but it's the people you share it with who truly make it unforgettable.
