Our weekend break in Hobart may have been short and sweet, but the sisters made the most of their short stay. The weather was beautiful and helped showcase all that Hobart had to offer. The Grand Vue accommodation in the perfectly located Battery Point was beyond our expectations and we felt completely spoilt in such plush surroundings. Our hosts, Ash and Ricardo, left nothing to chance, with lovely welcome Gateaux, a tasting plate with welcome drinks, yummy continental breakfasts and the most luxurious rooms over-looking the harbour.
Our itinerary included a day on the beautiful Bruny Island, Salamanca Market, a city tour and a visit to Mt Nelson lookout. And let’s not forget the mandatory visit to the controversial MONA, which left the group with much food for thought and discussion.
And the icing on the cake, were the amazing women who encapsulated everything that SWT promotes: kindness, friendliness, and supportive of all . It was the first experience with SWT for a few of the sisters, and I’m sure they will return.
Thank you to my Snazzy Sisters- you were such a wonderful group
