Five Stans, One Incredible Sisterhood Adventure! What an adventure it has been! Our journey through the five Stans of Central Asia has taken us to some truly remarkable places. From the spectacular mountains and beautiful scenery of Kyrgyzstan, the dramatic Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan and the winding mountain roads of Tajikistan, to the incredible Silk Road cities of Uzbekistan and the fascinating, mysterious Turkmenistan. We’ve explored ancient cities, wandered through colourful bazaars, admired magnificent architecture, discovered new cultures, sampled unfamiliar foods and met some wonderful local people along the way. There have been some extraordinary sights, plenty of history, long days travelling and certainly a few physical challenges along the way! But that’s all part of the adventure. For me, one of the greatest pleasures has been sharing this experience with such a lovely group of women. There has been plenty of laughter, new friendships, special moments and memories that will stay with us long after we’ve unpacked our suitcases. Central Asia is a fascinating part of the world, and I’m so grateful we’ve had the opportunity to discover it together. Five countries, countless memories and one very special Sisterhood adventure.
