Beautiful Tasmania charmed us from start to finish and she turned on the best weather for us. Our Luxe accommodation was superb and we were treated to beautiful scenery, delicious food and spectacular wines while Allan, our knowledgeable and fun driver regaled us with stories of convicts, whaling and aboriginal history. Launceston was a lovely soft landing where we explored vineyards and enjoyed a chairlift over The Gorge in glorious sunshine. Freycinet is the jewel in The Crown with magnificent Wineglass Bay, Coles Bay and endless forests, bays and rolling hills. We had a wonderful variety of activities - boating, walking, swimming ( for those who braved it) and gentle journeys traversing pretty villages, ancient landscapes and wild ocean views. Hobart was charming as always and our hotel was perfectly located on The Waterfront, walking distance to everything. Our group gelled, friendships blossomed and plans were being made for future trips and outings. It was a privilege to host this group and the spirit of Sisterhood was alive and well.
