In spring and summer, thousands of shearwaters and terns nest here, filling the skies with their calls. Life on Lord Howe moves at its own gentle pace. With no mobile phone reception and limited Wi-Fi, visitors are encouraged to switch off and immerse themselves in the natural beauty around them. Cycling is the main way to get around, and the warm hospitality of the locals makes you feel instantly at home.
