After an overnight flight to Thailand, we arrived in Koh Samui and were welcomed in the beautiful Banana Fan Sea Resort by friendly and helpful staff. We chilled out and met for Happy Hour at Kevin’s Bar where we chatted and got to know each other. Cheweng Beach was the perfect place to ease in to Thai culture and weather where we enjoyed massages, mani and pedicures and of course some shopping!! We enjoyed a tour of The Island as well as a fabulous boat trip which included snorkelling and a delicious picnic on a deserted island. We enjoyed a delicious meal out on one of our evenings and by the time we got to Kamalaya, we had bonded beautifully.
Kamalaya exceeded all expectations from location, staff, treatments and tranquility. Everyone had a personal reason for being there and Kamalaya wrapped us all in her serenity and peace. We participated in yoga, Tai Chi, Qui Gong, Pilates and so many other classes as well as enjoying amazing treatments, therapies and self discovery. We shared our days each evening over deliciously nutritional and tasty meals and the bonding, friendship and camaraderie blossomed.
Kamalaya is a very special place - healing, kind and empowering. A truly special and wonderful experience. Thankyou to all my Kamalaya Sisters for an unforgettable journey.
