What a journey we’ve shared. From our first hello at Heathrow to our final hugs on the Thames dinner cruise, this Castles, Gardens & Palaces of the UK tour has been filled with history, laughter, beauty, and the kind of moments that stay with you long after you unpack.

 

We explored grand palaces like Windsor, Blenheim, and Edinburgh Castle; wandered through the Eden Project, Kew Gardens, Holker Hall, and the world-renowned Chelsea Flower Show. And of course, many of the palaces themselves revealed incredible gardens — from formal rose beds to sweeping parklands.

 

We soaked up village charm in places like Port Isaac, Grasmere, and Llangollen. There were rolling green hills, cobbled streets, cathedral spires, and more roses, tapestries, and teapots than we could count.

 

Yes, there were long drives and rainy days, but there were also Beefeaters, Crown Jewels, surprise military parades blocking the road, and even a few moments that felt like we’d stepped into Downton Abbey or Bridgerton.

 

And through it all — this group of incredible women showed up with kindness, patience, warmth, and good humour. You were always on time, always supportive of one another, and always a pleasure to be with.

 

From garden strolls to castle tours, from dollhouses to rain-soaked adventures, we shared so many fabulous memories across England, Wales, and Scotland. You brought this trip to life.
