September brought us an unforgettable journey through Canada and Alaska - a trip filled with breathtaking landscapes, deep connections, and a few unexpected twists that made the experience all the more memorable.
Our adventure started with a challenge: the Air Canada strike. For a moment, it felt like our long-planned trip might unravel before it had even begun. But in true Sisterhood spirit, we met the disruption with patience, humor, and a touch of creativity. Together, we navigated flight changes and delays, proving once again that women traveling in solidarity can handle anything. Once we touched down, we were met with something truly rare for this part of the world—beautiful September weather. Clear skies revealed mountain peaks dusted with early snow, calm waters reflected the rugged Alaskan coastlines, and crisp air made each walk and excursion invigorating. We couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for our travels.
Travel is never without its surprises, but that’s part of what makes it so rewarding. The air strike may have tested us, but it also reminded us that challenges can strengthen our connections and make the triumphs even sweeter. Under clear skies and surrounded by beauty, we experienced a journey that will live long in our hearts. Until the next adventure—thank you to every Sister who joined us on this unforgettable trip.
