Your Award Winning Women's Tour Company. Interesting Itineraries Since 2005.

One of the best parts of my role is witnessing the camaraderie that develops amongst women, mostly strangers at the start of a tour. The chatter & laughter from the start of this tour signalled that.

This tour ticked all the boxes - friendships, animals & birds in their natural habitat, the Masai Mara, Serengeti, even the weather was on our side.

Each day we split into 3 different groups with a different driver/guide, each so knowledgeable & informative about almost everything.  We all saw the "big 5" (lion, rhino, leopard, elephant and buffalo), the "ugly 5" (hyena, warthog, vulture, marabou stork and wildebeest), & 4/5 of the "little 5" (ant lion, buffalo weaver, elephant shrew, leopard tortoise and rhinoceros beetle).

Collective nouns delighted us - who actually decides these? - so here are some less familiar:

A tower of giraffe

A crash of rhino

A coalition of cheetahs

A sedge of cranes

A bloat of hippos

A cackle of hyenas

A venue of vultures

A leap of leopards

An obstinacy of buffalo

A memory of elephants

It has certainly been my privilege to escort this group & I thank you all for displaying many traits that make Sisterhood Womens Travel what it is.
