Continuing onto Mt. Gambier where we'll visit the mysterious Blue Lake. From here we'll continue onto the world renown Coonawarra wine region. Here, we'll stop at Brand's Laira vineyard for a wine tasting. The vinyards's first vines were planted in 1893 when an English Sea Captain purchased a plot of land in the Penola fruit colony, naming it "Laira" after ship that traded around the Australian and New Zealand coast at the time. Afterwards we'll continue to Naracoorte, with dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Kangaroo Island is famous for its unspoiled natural beauty and its fresh local produce. We'll kick off our island adventure with a visit to South Australia's only boutique distillery to taste a selection of their handcrafted premium spirits. All the spirits are hand made in small batches onsite, so we'll be able to smell the aroma of botanicals, citrus peel or even fennel lingering as we taste the award winning Australian Gin and delicious liqueurs. We'll finish our days travelling with a short drive to Kingscote, to rest up for another great day that awaits us tomorrow.
