Day 1 - Sunday 20 September 2020
Melbourne - Strath Creek (HT, D)
Escape to the Country with Sisterhood Womens Travel. Meet your tour hostess and fellow travellers opposite Southern Cross at 10.30am for our drive to Strath Creek in the Murrindindi. With rolling hills and pretty farmland to enjoy before arriving at historic Flowerdale Estate in time for check in and our Royale High Tea. A delicious treat to enjoy in traditional surrounds. Afterwards there's plenty of time to enjoy the surrounds of Flowerdale Estate.
The vision of Flowerdale Estate began in 1838 with the current homestead built in 1842. Over the years the property which began as a 10,000 acre sheep farm changed hand many times and in 2012 was purchased by the Neville family. With a menagarie of animals to enjoy including cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, goats and chickens there's plenty of room to roam and soak up spectacular country views.
Tonight, we'll enjoy a lovely 3 course dinner in the onsite restaurant Gracie's where afterwards we can retire to the parlour room or enjoy a game of billiards. There's even an indoor swimming pool for the more adventurous.
Overnight - Flowerdate Estate
Day 2 - Monday 21 September 2020
